evo 8 carbon fiber wing problem

If you get your wing fixed, you have to use a wax that has SPF protection. I believe all of Meguiar's wax products have some sort of SPF protection.

okay, i have been told it's the clear coat. but ive been picky as far as WHO i go see to get this fixed. Like someone said earlier. dont wanna risk damaging that beautiful carbon fiber.

I have an idea. Modelchris...u know anyone who owns a silver evo by you? A friend, relative, club member, or even someone from the boards that lives close to you?

It ain't hard to install/uninstall an EVO 8 wing. Take his off, put yours on his, then let him drive to the dealership, hopefully still having a valid warranty, then let Mitsu fix it. When he gets it back, take off the fixed wing from his car, then put his original one back.

thats a DAMNNNNN good idea man. very good =) i like that. lol too bad i dont know anyone personally around here who has a silver evo=( or an evo for that matter period. =( damnit.

mistubishi doesnt fix the actual spoiler - dont they just make a new one? and send it in?
