Korbach Frame Locks

hey guys... i recently installed these on a friends SI let me tell you they are amazing... so i sent this message to korbach.

"I helped my friend install his frame locks on his honda SI let me
tell you this kit was totally complete and amazing and the driving
before and after was like night and day. I was wondering if you had
any plans to produce a kit for a non-evo lancer. I could post this on
a forum and gauge the interest and possibly get preorders, if you are
producing a kit. Please let me know."

and they replied with...

"Eric,

Thank you very much for your comments. A lot of effort went into
designing the Frame Locks and writting the manuals in order to make
installation a simple procedure. Your comments on the before and
after difference are quite typical of our customers. So much so that,
as you may have noticed, we have many that doubt the actual results.
As for the non-EVO Lancer. That chassis is under consideration, but
at the moment we are tackling about six platforms, so it will be a
while.

I am forwarding your comments to my manager for evaluation. Any
demonstration of an actual demand for products is always welcome.

Again, I thank you.

Joshua Holden
VP Sales & Marketing"

Now for the suspension guys this is a must... this kit was only 150$ dollars and it included the drills needed for the car!!!

If anyone is interested please email them at

info@korbachperformance.com

and let them know. You never know what a lil mass email campaign can do.

Looks like more black magic. I don't see those having such a dramatic effect on a Lancer. Civics don't have the rally heritage to mooch off of, so I can picture them needing some help though.

And, how can a couple brackets make the car more rigid and more comfortable at the same time?? Rigidity and comfort are mutually exclusive. That's why cars are wet sponges by design.

Why are all their testemonials from CA?? Maybe they're all friends from the Honda forums??

from looking at them i thought the same thing... but after thinking about it... the points it mounts together... its kind of like a strut bar and how it ties the 2 sides together... these locks dont allow the front end of the car to move as much. I was very suprised with the before and after (driving) of the car.

Most of their testimonials are in cali b/c that is where they are based so they probably needed local test cars.

Rally heritage has nothing to do with this... im guessing these work the same way as adding extra welds to the frame much like what they do to the evo chassis.

there regular website is www.korbachperformance.com

Im not saying these will be the greatest suspension mod you can do but it does help and for 150$ its about the price of the rrm k-bar
