Someone broke my rear windshield. Insurance covered it but went up about an extra $2 a month. Not bad.

 

mine was about $225
was broken into in broad daylight in a secured parking lot for some walmart sunglasses, all the change in the cupholders (about $3), and a cobra radar detector
(which was in my glovebox)

 

Sorry to hear about your loss, sir. Chin up. Find a rear windshield wiper and a motor and you'll have a project. It'll be better than before.

 

oh they actually broke the side rear window, sorry for the confusion... but seriously i calledd a place and got a price for 140 installed so

 

Man that sucks dude, at least it was only a window, and not a total car loss.

 

i kno... i think i honestly would have bought a ralliart if it came to that and found someway to swap lights... lol imagin cedias on a ra.... O_o

 

Imagine an 03 Lancer w/ a Ralliart engine...now that would be awesome.

sorry for your loss. Since I got my rear windshield bricked I never park on the street anymore, not even for a second. Always in the driveway, mostly in the garage. I thought my neighborhood was good till that happened and some punk lil kid stole my chrome valve caps. Suburbs, city, or bumblefawk....it don't matter where you live. There will be some punk haters that will mess with ur ride. It's just how it is.

 

Sorry to hear! I don't ever park on the street unless there is no other parking. I guess now I have another reason, although my car wouldn't be as much of a target
