and its all opinion dude, so don't try and pick a fight. What you think is measly light output is blinding on the road for me.
so do u drive around with shades at night?

i have a perfectly clean cut off w/ aftermarket bulbs. must be the design of the 04-05 headlights. everyone says they will buy projectors but if someone actually made them most people would complain about the price.

I've been looking into getting hold of a set of OEM Acura TSX projectors. D2S bulbs will be extra but still wondering if that arrangement will work on the 2008 Lancer?

as far as fitting goes you have to measure you housings and the projectors. I am not sure if they will work for the 08 but I assure you with the popularity the 08 already has they will make projecotrs for you if you don't already have them (I don't recall) retros are really to just add projecotrs if you don't. just e-mail who you are buying them from or google search for dimensions and take the lights apart and measure at least 3 times in every direction to verify a fit.

Hopefully we'll see some aftermarket projectors this time around. Also, doesn't one of the Evo trims come with projectors? I'd imagine it'd be a straight swap.

Damn thats pricey. But that probably includes the bulbs, harnasses, ignitors etc.

I think in our case, just the projector housings itself should be enough, then everyone can just install their own HID bulbs/ballasts. The housings can be more than $450-$500.
