Hey guys,
Is anyone going to import the Lancer EVO VII? If so can they tell me where they are importing it from and how much you are going to pay for everything? So far, I have had 2 deals. One was going to be imported from Massachussetts but they only drawback was that I didn't want the RS version of the Lancer. It was kind of cheap, only 28,000 for the the car plus the shipping and handling. Another one from Florida, I got a deal in which they were importing the version RSII but i didn't want it. And they also said the price was going to be in the mid 30's and low 40's. Who the hell is going to pay that much?Does anybody know where I can import a GSR which is LHD and has everything intact? If so, hit me back, or email me?

Oh yeah, I read that there was an EVO VII Lancer in the U.K. where it was modified to about 310 or 340hp. that's crazy, I want that. They said it might cost around 34,000. Is that true?

yeah....this company dealer told me that they couldn't sell the GSR to me becuase it was RHD...but I know that there is other companies out there they will sell a GSR that is LHD becuase i've seen pictures of it...you know where i can get a GSR? Even though it ain't street legal

 

You can't get a GSR model in LHD. You can get the RS-II in LHD. It's basically like the GSR minus climate control (still has standard AC) and few other small things I believe.

Mark, are you sure that there are no LHD EVO7GSR's anywhere? I believe that was true of the EVO6's but not sure about the GSR's since it's a growing breed and there may be limited offering "special editions" floating around... or maybe not?


TwiNpnOy84: The climate control looks like this on a RHD EVO7GSR. One cannot get this as an option on any trim level other than the EVO7GSR... if you see a LHD model with this temperature dial (measured in degrees celcius of course), let us know!

Are you sure you can't get an EVO VII GSR in LHD? Because in the U.K. they got all these EVO VII's that are LHD. Why wouldn't they come out with a GSR that's LHD? I've seen pics of an RS and RSII that are LHD

 

I'm pretty sure. The GSR is a Japan only model from what I understand. The UK versions are RS-II models. I think they just officially released the Evo to the UK, but that's RHD.

EVo VII GSR are RHD only. RS-II are available LHD. You can option out an RS-II to be pretty close to a GSR. Minus the climate control. Manual AC though.

 

:soapbox: Why on earth can't the US have a GSR! Last time I checked, we had alot more open raod than Japan does!

 

Yeah You can only get the RS-II in LHD they dont make any GSR models LHD...

 

LHD Lancer Evolution GSR does exist, so does the Lancer Evolution VII GSR. They do have it in HK & China, althought cars in HK are RHD but in China their cars are LHD therefore you can see LHD & RHD in HK & China since 1997.
I think some of you might not believe, but don't worry, I have an article tuning the LHD Lancer Evolution VII GSR, so now I enclosed a few pics to show all of you, after the light tuning of this VII GSR it came out 360HP at the wheel.

In HK, China & Japan, they do only have GSR for Evo III-VII either LHD or RHD.
