i tried 3 different airguns and none of them worked. then I took it to a friends house and he used a socket to hold my flywheel still and used a breaker bar on the pulley bolt. It came off fairly easy that way.

you can lock it up in 'low 1' or whatever you want but i don't think your torque convertor will be to happy with you.

With a good impact you should be able to blow bolt off and on without needing to hold the motor from rotating.

i guess those impacts that I tried weren't that good. And yes I wish I had a manual. I'm just glad I got it on without having to take it to a shope and pay. By the way ROCK I am completely satisfied with the pulley. It's a great product.

i found that rather than using a socket w/ the impact gun the crankshaft bolt that the gun will provide much more torque if you insert the 1/2inch tip of the gun straight into the crankshaft. it's pretty much common sense but figured i'd post it incase somebody else was unaware of that. by doing it that way the crank doesn't spin since the bolt is cracked imediately. otherwise , you will need to lock up the crank like mentioned earlier.
