ok, houston shops. can anyone give me the name of some shops in houston that might be cheaper than $130 for install cause I will be there all day tomorrow.

 

Should I get the pulley first or the motor mounts?

 

^^^get the pulley and some windo-weld and save yourself some $$$.

ok i just got my pulley installed yesterday, since hardly anyone here is giving detailed updates ill be nice and put it up, since i hate it when others dont tell the lancer guys whats up.so.....

when i 1st got it installed i noticed a weird knocking sound for like 10 sec :P. but after that it went away. it felt like the throttle was easier to press down. you gain rpm's alot faster!!! ill tell you that. not a huge diffrence at 1st, but seems like every day my car is alot quicker. i say cause i reach the lancer's max tq alot faster than before. it also makes the car sound different. i like it alot. it sounds like the exhaust from dodge srt-4 that throaty sound. or like a v8 engine, overall it sound diffrent.

i peeled out very well today, best peel out i have ever done. the car started hoping and was shirping alot. like i said the rpm's go up alot faster. this would be a GREAT mod for Turbo cars. cause you will get boost alot faster. awesome 1st mod for all. id put this ahead or right after exhaust as a mod. cheap mod and great.

haha at first he priced it at 75 dollars, i just started pouting and said hmmm over and over. then he asked what? i said i was thinking more like $55, and told him i was going to look for other stores to install it.

 

ok i go mine on yesterday and love it. the guy quoted me $30 then was joking about how much stuff it seemed he had to do to get it on and that he dicked himself for that low price. it took him about 2 hours, then i just gave him $40. No problems, weird noises etc. and there is a noticable difference in revving speed. Not sure about wheel hop though cause i have now that, axelback, sri, and PB and still find it really hard to "peel out" at all unless I'm on dirt. but it feels great and was prolly the best mod for the car at that low of a price. Awesome job RRM again.
