yep.. The Dealer Ship is located in Daytona Im going there this Friday after my lab class .. its like 3 hours away from me

 

okay you open the glove box on the left side of the glove box is a black tab, you push the tab and it falls out (it falls inward into the glove box) which you will then be able to pull the whole glove box out. after pulling out the glove box get into the floor and look up you will see a small plastic piece if you move it backwards it will come off and you will be looking directly up at the ecu box and you will be looking for a black box with wires coming out of it. hope that helps a little, someone might be able to explain it better, have at it!

 

I thought id seen that car before. Looks really nice but get rid of those blue cable covers If anyone needs to know about the grounding kit I posted a How To on that kit.

 

Wow, pretty "showey" Congrats on the car. I think it might be wired for an amp if the previous owner took the system out, but that think red wire going through the firewall may be something else.

 

Whats wrong with the ebay chips? i was looking at them but never bought one..my friend put on e on his eclipse and he said you could feel a difference..but whats wrong with it?

 

^They are crap. Most of them are for your air flow sensor to lean/richen things up. Don't bother.

 

Do they not have to smog a car before selling in in Fl? In CA, that car would never be able to be sold as it is, because it won't pass our smog laws and it has to be smogged within 30 days of the sale. Anyway, nice car nevertheless.

The thing that's wrong with it is they are usually a 45 cent electronic resistor, sometimes wrapped in a pretty black box and sold for too much money. Not really a chip, just a resistor you solder to a sensor wire.

 

i wonder what the red switch on the left next to the steering wheel is for, i dont see any fog lights or things like that

very nice engine bay. everything flows well. BUT. i would change those grounding wires to blue. it doesnt look right being the only red thing.

 

if the car had a system then the switch could be a bass cut i had one on my jeep an easy way to get out of a ticket especially if the subs are hidden

Good Idea.. they did say there was an aftermarket sound system in it with six speakers or something when.. I pick it up tommarrow I will push the hell out of it and let you guys know what happens.. and check under my glove box for that little black box
