Turbo Kit- $4000
Throttle Body- $300
IM- $350
Pulley- $100
Used 16" lightweight rims/tires- $300
Greddy Evo 2 catback - $500
Take out catalytic converter- free
Emanage Ultimate- $500
LSD- $1000
New shocks/struts/camber kit/lowering springs/sway bars etc. -$1000
Built/Ported/Polished Cylinder head with new lightweight springs/valves/gaskets etc. -$1500
RRM Camshaft- $500

All of those are rough prices and would be kickass on a lancer. Watch out for the drivetrain/transmission to start going out though!

Tuning a car isn't an investment. Anyone stupid enough to expect a return deserves to eat the loss. You don't put money into a car thinking, "Boy this will up the resale value. Can't wait to slap on this turbo kit." At least I should hope you don't.

Anyway, I'd built a custom turbo on a built block and P&P'd head, IM and TB, throw on a turbo-back, some coilovers, wheels and tires, and I'd call it a day.

After the turbo I'd go with some basic stuff like a cat back and definatly strut/sway bars. Then i'd jump on the interior, with DVD players, sub, etc. maybe a custom paint job too. Your 17, your supposed to blow large sums of money that you will later regret. otherwise, your just a dork with 10G's. :-)
