Engine Dampener
Muffler
Grounding Kit

Eventually:
Piggy Back
Throttle Body
Intake Manifold

would any of those increase or decrease reliability?

As long as you won't screw anything up while installing your mods your lancer will last forever. If you will run into any problems you can search for some info on this forum and replace bad parts with better aftermarket ones. That's all there is.

excellent. I bought my oz with 57k miles on it, it has 60k now, im due for an oil change, but i have had no real problems with it.
although my steering is acting up. on hot days if i turn hard it just stops and i have to force it round, and it squeals. Im gonna take it in cos i have a warranty, but if any1 has any ideas on what it might be, give me a PM. save me sum time and money. lol

I used to have a 2004 ES with 40,000 miles and no problem, just one recall.

Now i have a 2003 OZ with 35,000 miles, no problems.

^^ I thought getting to the serpentine belt was a bad a couple days ago when I was trying to install my pulley. Old pulley didn't come off because of retarded electric impact gun, so I had to hurry putting everything back together. It's simple once you've done it twice.

Lost power steering/ac because I screwed up putting everything back together but now it's fine. No other problems but that, and that was MY fault.

I had an air-impact gun and couldn't get that bolt loose, so don't feel too bad. But I traded mine in before I tried to do it again... speaking of.. anyone need a timing belt and water-pump? lol
