Weight Reduction
Ok here are the plans. I'm only adding a spoiler to this car because i need one bad for the sporty look. For taking weight off here is the list i made and planing on tackling in the weeks to come.
1. Light Weight Battery
2. All Trunk Liner (Leaving Spire Tire)
3. Taking out the dual subs replacing them with a single sub box.
4. Light Weight Racing Seats (Driver & Passenger)
I hoping to see another 100lb or savings with these choices. Also i believe this still leaves the car fully piratical for a daily driver.

Yeah it seems like a waste, if you remove the trunk lining the road noise will get a lot louder, so you're sound quality will drop to the point that the sub really won't work very well.
Just remove the sub completely. You will get used to not having any bass. I removed my 80lb box and amp and there was a huge differance in handling. I dont even want the bass back.
So i put my RA up on the lift the other day to check out these "Rollers" everyone has mentioned... They are in fact NOT rollers at all... They are harmonic dampeners for chassis vibration... I removed both of mine, and there is no way possible these would help something roll under the car... The subframe they are attached to is very thin and would collapse first... Lots of vehicles use these type of dampeners to make the vehicle quieter... There is absolutely no harm in removing them however... I noticed no difference in my car afterwards... Ive even seen these on Truck rear axles to reduce vibrations in the driveline... just thought id clear that up...

Oh snap!
I gotta get the heck out of here. The threads are just a blur. I have to squint to see them
OK, lets try this again...stays on topic...Yeah I'm gonna try slimfast. I should see some good gains by removing my spare tire, not the one in the trunk
