No, Actually the wiring harness reached the bottom cubby with no problem. I was worried it wouldn't reach either, but everything hooked up without any extensions. Good luck!

The wires come from the bottom. So there is more than enough room. sells a blank plate to cover the hole till you get your guages.

is there a how-to on removing the middle piece which holds stock radio in, you know the piece that covers the hvac controls, etc?

Pull on the climate control knobs towards you....they should pull out. There are two screws...one behind two of the knobs (use a philips screwdriver). Then pull on the panel towards you. This may take a little force but be careful not to break it. This is how you do it on a 02-03 model...i'm not positive if the interior is similar for the 04+ models. Good luck

I use a butter knife between the panell and dash, pry all the way around then it pops right out. It is the same for the 06 did one last week for a friend. To remove the little cubby hole there are 2 philip screws in the top of the cubby hole a short screw driver will make it the easiest to get it out. Take thoes screws and pull... you will be amazed at how easy this is. As for the radio, there are 4 screws holding it in. take thoes out pull the radio forward and disconnect it from the harnes pass the harness down to the new opening and reconect it. Dont forget about the antenna (its the small round cable in the back)

i'll be have my avic n2 installed to the bottom with the relocator. i hope it'll fit and i'll have clearance. my friend said he'd get me spacers since it needs to be pushed forward a bit.

does anyone know if anyone has successfully run this set up and had no problems with the screen coming out?

hey nice gauges, i got those too.

how does your boost gauge light up? mine doesnt light up as bright compared to the other 2, im think this is because the other 2 have bigger numbers while the boost gauge has smaller and more numbers.
