Lancer Specs Revealed!!!
Thats good in theory, and for rally cars thats what some people do.
However for a normal person that has paid $30K for a Lancer, remember that if you register it as a salvage Mirage, you also have to insure the car as a salvage Mirage. That means when some punk smashes or steals your car. You are going to get $1K-$2K for insurance and be out $30K.

True, but you could probably find a used Evo for much less than $30K. I'm not sure how all insurance companies work, but you should be able to tell them you modded it and want to insure the value with all the mods. I'm sure the monthly rate won't be cheap, but probably comparable to any other car at that price level. Seems to be the case with my agent... maybe he's just out if it though
Ahhhh, I'll just stick to getting an imported Evo 5 or 6 in the future.
