I would love if someone would make a plug 'n play telescopic adapter for our steering wheel.

Looks like RRM is hankering for some fresh material. I think the things that resonate the most in this thread (having read it multiple times) are the engine dampener, the 02-03 projectors, and the rear brake conversion.

IMO rear disc brakes are worthless in terms of performance since 80-90% of the braking is done by the front brakes. The engine dampener does not yield much enhancement other than to be eye-candy for the otherwise bland engine bay. The 02-03 projectors are just unfeasible to market since if it is done the RIGHT way on a mass production scale it will cost too much and will end up just like the JDM projectors everyone drools over.

The engine moves a lot more than you think when turbo'd and the engine damper would help. Granted, if you've only got a intake on the car, its not going to do a lot. Another item in this thread discussed is a stock DP replacement; something a lot more free flowing than the stock one.

Actually, the point of this thread was to suggest ideas for this particular member to start making in an effort to add VARIETY and COMPETITION to the Lancer community. True most of this stuff is already made for the Lancer, but since only one or maybe two vendors make it, there isn't much competition and therefore prices are higher (basic economics). The more vendors there are making competing parts, the better it is for the community - assuming all the products are of equal quality. Granted you can find most anything on eBay, but obviously the quality is lacking on some items. I'm just grateful for someone else who is interested in providing us with some more choices of where to go when we want to mod the car. Look at the EVOs for example!

Can't wait for the engine damper to be finished. I'll be the first to grab one up.

Well the engine damper does exactly the same thing as motor mounts, just in a marginally different (and in some cases less effective) manner. A DP is something I think everyone wants. A rear brake conversion would be nice as well, especially if the price was competitive with the RPW kit. Sure under heavy braking 80-90% is done by the front brakes, but what about in day to day braking? This seems to be where the conversion shines, at least according to some of the other threads around here.

Now that we have a few things listed that a lot of people agree with, you should add a poll with some of the things we've listed like a DP, rear discs, engine damper, then see which of them get enough votes to be worth making

rear disc brakes would mess with the brake bias (balance) set by the factory, or so I have been told. That would actually make the front brakes less effective. If it would produce an increase in braking performance then dont you think RRM would jump right on it?

Well people have said from experience that a DP is a good mod,and yields gains but RRM does not make that either so I don't think that logic really works. I agree that a conversion would change the bias, I'm not sure how this affect braking (negatively, positively, or neutrally) performance.

Since the cat bolts on after the dp, it seems kinda pointless to make a $200+ dp for the OZ. But I guess should. Our Drag Lancer still has stock dp. We make over 300 h.p. so a d.p. is not what is making your car slow. Just apply that logic to your search for new products and you will be fine.

I can see what you're getting at but at the same time it seems kinda weird to open up the exhaust system, run a high flow cat or a test pipe (for those turbo guys) but still squeeze the exhaust gases through the pinched stock setup.
