Angry Reflector replacement

so the other night i was talking to one of my buddies who has a lancer and he has the blacked out reflectors, and i was wondering how he did it. he told me jus to get under them a little and pry on them and the glue shoud jus break loose and they should come off. haha well i pried on them and something borke, and it wasnt the glue. so now i'm sitting there with broken reflectors and wondering what to do. so my best momentary fix is to break them the rest the way off and jus paint the housing. as u can guess that looks like crap up close. driving around or from a distance its fine but up close its really ricey. so heres my ? to go along with the dumba$$ move of the day

does anyone know where i can get the c/f replacements or the clear ones. id rather have the c/f ones to go with my taillights but the clear will work, it has to be better than the painted housing.

any help would be awsome guys, and i hope u have ur laugh for the day today even though its at my expence.

dude. your friend is a moron.... sorry to say it but..... yah, lol. The reflectors are held on by metal brackets.... Not glue...... RRM sells CF covers for them.......... Sometimes you can find clear ones on ebay.

www.roadracemotorsports.com

They are more like covers. the CF ones dont reflect anything.... There is a how-to install these things on the board. The passenger side is a PITA!

I put the RRM Carbon fiber ones on my car, I may still have my stock reflectors if you would want a stock set to "black out". PM me if you want the stock ones.

nice sheep man. I was to lazy to look up the thread...

And another option is buying the stockers off someone and painted them black (buy redoz03's). I wish I did that rather then buying the CF RRM ones...... Woulda looked nicer.. imho

the CF reflectors are not reflective. they are basicly covers for the holes that are left behind. and no, you have to order them from www.roadracemotorsports.com
I think they are $40

There was a thread floating around here about a seller on Ebay had the clear ones again. Maybe a quick search would bring it up...
