I told you pics make a difference. It really does look better in person too. Plus that is a better car. I will put them up on the site tonight.

I have to say .. the first pic.. I was kinda turned off.. but the other 2 pics.. I like it!

I'm taking delivery of a black GTS in Sept.. and I think on a black car, that hood would look even better, but that's personal pref ofcourse

since everyone is throwing in their hood ideas.. the one in my head is basically just a basic extractor hood, same style of front vents as the evo hood .. no center scoop, and the extractor peices go down into the hood, nothing bumps up above the stock line of the hood.

but.. that RRM hood is definately on my list of get ahold of. while the center scoop may take a little bit to grow on .. it's really nice to see a fully functional hood right off the bat!

dunno how many people here race.. but I will be attending AutoX and TSD rally events with mine

and I think the windshield squirters are under the hood.. but I never really looked heh

That second picture looks clean as hell. Excellent work.

My question is in regards to the security of the hood vs. stock. What I mean by that is, how secure is the latch system on this hood? Most carbon fiber hoods that I've seen simply have a latch fiberglassed into place on the structural skeleton of the hood. The C-West hood that I have on my Evo has both a carbon fiber outer shell as well as a carbon fiber structural skeleton. A threaded aluminum square bracket is inside the skeleton and the latch plate is secured onto that via 4 bolts, which sandwiches the skeleton between the aluminum bracket and the latch plate. I guess what I'm asking is if you can take a picture of the latch area on the hood to alleviate some fears I have. Thank you.
