ROAD/RACE-Carbontrix-08 CF Hood
Hey Rock, do you have pricing yet on these hoods? And can we get them done in our stock color on a fiberglass or is it just Carbon Fiber? I love the look. I just want my car to be all white on the outside, even thought about doing the wheels in the stock color white or get something that is close.

Carbon Fiber will be $799
Fiberglass will be $599.
We do not do painting so you are on your own with paint. I will throw up better pics on a GTS. asap. Trust me those pics I posted do not do the hood justice.

ok. i'm not too fond of it (yet). hopefully better pics will change my mind. i just dont see how that intake vent is very functional. i mean maybe if we had a turbo or top-mounted intercooler, but as far as where our intake is, not as functional. the side vents are okay. i dont really like the style of them but i'm sure they will help remove hot air from the engine bay.
not to knock on rrm and their work but that's my 2 cents and i'm sure it's great quality. nice work ROCK!

They are expensive compared to what? Don't get me started. We make them 5 at a time here in SFS, CA.

well at the moment, you are the only one who has a hood available so nothing, but for my car i bought a vis hood for 490$ from there factory. I dunno about this or costs incurred to you, but it is expensive in general.
Wow! $800 bucks for carbon fiber! I think I might have to wait and see if the price goes down. I would be willing to pay $600-$700. But $800, a little out of my price range. I guess I'll have to live with my F***ed up hood for a little while.
