My auto OZ did a 1/4 mile in 18.34 seconds with 4 people in it, so it would probably be close to that time with 1 person in it rather than 4..

Maybe a little quicker... But auto's are still slow for the most part... I've found out the hard way once too many times...

Talking 1/4

my bestfrind jose has a auto lancer oz and it kicks *** but only with mods .he does the 1/4 mile in 16.0 sec and he got the basic's air intake, exhast, header, and the custom pulley's.and that.s with the spare out of the car .he wieghts 210.pretty damm good and he did it at a speed of 85 to87mph .and in my oz sitck i could do it at 15.5sec with intake, exhast, header, and the custom pulley's,sprkplugwires, short shifter.id at 89to 90 mph.it could be wrong because i used a stop watch from $1.00 store.

That's somewhat scary if all the mods you listed are done on his car an he's only running a flat 16.

Talking ES

But you have to take into account all of the body stuff put on the OZ. The wing, side skirts and the front and rear bumper. I know that the OZ is heavier than the ES. I have an ES and if the OZ was any faster i would have bout it. Once i get all my mods i will smoke an OZ

Riiight...I'm pretty sure the weight difference is almost negligible but enough not to be discounted. Simmer chief...we're all running the same mill.

i know

ehy i know but i still get riled up when they talk about the ES's like we are a civic DX and they are the EX with a different engine or something. rocks and i think the only way that our lancers will ever really haul *** will be if we all get turbos. Maybe i could steel one off a wrecked 3000GT VR-4? HMMMM... something to think about. I know that the 3000GT has a V-6 but i can dream right...hey what about the Eclipse GS-T?
