So you only updated the stickied version? *slaps forehead, wishes could slap Nick*

Should we make both threads match, or just remove the first couple posts of this and keep this one as "discussion"???

I'm on 46k Doug, I had to make an evening out of updating just the stickied version. It's probably a good idea to make them match, I can do that at work tomorrow.

Im gonna go have to agree with most people here. I didn't buy the car for speed, just liked the way it looked and needed a car for school. Of course soon after wanted to do some engine work since my 03 OZ Rally is comparable to a turtle at times. I am a "complete noob" but am glad you posted this, because otherwise I might be stuck forever. You should probably be a teacher some day, some of the stuff you say is kind of funny and keeps the reading interesting.

Great job!

Wow, this FAQ answered every question I had. I would have made a thread about half of these things. It should be required to read this before you register.

I am a noob. But I see Accolade in the Lancer Vendors section. Correct me if I am wrong but from what I read and others telling me, they are not reliable. I live in in the US so idk if they are the same elsewhere but if it is true, can the post be updated with a disclaimer so others who see this would not fall into Accolades trap?

Considering that it started with 120hp, what are you complaining about? You'd have MORE THAN DOUBLED the stock setup. If you want a 500hp monster, don't start with an economy sedan. Start with a stronger car (like an Evo) in the first place.

Very nice write up!
This will definitely help all new Lancer owners. Yes, as mentioned some specifications and details were left out. But unless you are looking to write a novel on the car, general information such as this is all one needs until a specific question/problem arises.

However with that said, I hope one would look up a "specific" article relating to their question at hand. ie..people are saying they expected a more indepth look on Turbos.... if you want that specific of details on something than you be looking at more than one article specializing on the subject; gaining different view points on the quality/experience with a part and or manufacturer.
