Last phase of lancer mods

Alright so after debating turbo and NA I decided to go the route that people don't normally choose. All products have been ordered and are being shipped as we speak. Thanks to Road Race for their customer service and excellent products. Will update every step of the way.

Should be here in a day or two:
Progress Springs

Should be here next week:
RRM P&P'ed Head
RRM Stage 1 camshaft
RRM Throttlebody
RRM Intake manifold

This all should be installed within 2-3 weeks time. At the time of installation the shop that is doing it will also weld on a 2.25" downpipe and street tune my SAFC until I have time for a dyno run and tune.

:UPDATED:

Just got the car lowered. Props to Road Race and Progress for 1 helluva spring. Ride quality has improved with very controled response going over the bumps. Cornering is quite a bit better. Only problem is exhaust is hitting suspension but that will be fixed next week. I am in love with my car all over again.

Great! Glad to hear that you're prepared for the tuning that's needed to get the most from those mods.

The biggest myth in the Lancer community is that you can bolt on a part and make power.

It'd appear you might have the most extensive list of N/A mods one could get to increase HP; definitely dyno that thing and tell us the good news!

Woohoo, progress springs just arrived. Also, I am probably going to do something to the MAF to increase its airflow. Either modify the current one or switch to a 609. I have several possibilities. Will post what I decide.

Are you sure the MAF is a restriction at this point (at least enough of one to hinder power)?

Glad to see someone who will actually drop the money to go NA (and get it tuned) finally.

How are you planning on tuning? I wouldn't suggest usuing the SAFC.

The shop will tune the SAFC until he gets it dyno tuned. The SAFC should work fine for now.

I thought you would throw a CEL or something if you took that off.

Wouldn't be better and more effective to just flash the ECU? The SAFC only controls the AF, I think to 16 points along the fuel curve? You could still run the SAFC to monitor and watch for knock, correct?

You could flash the ECU but that'd require the use of ECUflash (?) or getting a tune from WORKS.
