The faster you go, there more it equals out. Like I said in another thread, I had a race with a tuned E46 M3 on the Ring with my Evo 6 running a max of 1.43 bar boost, which means about 340 horses for my car (optimistic). I spoke to the M3 owner and he told me his car had new cams, exhaust, filter and ECU, so about 380 horses. Like I said there, out of slow corners I had quite a big edge and on the straights I was gaining a little. First he was behind me and only caught me because of yellow flags. Then I let him in front just for the fun of it and was all over his *** and could've passed him out of corners quite easily if there wouldn't have been any traffic. It was all good fun and his brakes were on fire after the lap (no joke), he came over to chat (very nice guy) and was impressed with the Evo and said how bad the brakes on the M3 and M5 are. 1 pots in the front!!! hehehe...

"don't think there is much of a difference between E7 and TME, just weight, looks and chasis stiffness, I think the gearing is the same (GSR to GSR of course)."

I think the TME also has the titanium turbo for a better low end and a quicker steering.

Titanium turbo was available as an option which I do have on the car.... not sure on the TME but the E7 gets 2.2 turns lock-to-lock.

Cheers.

Crufty,

Does that make city driving a hassle or a little easier? The steering that is.

Evo 7 (GSR) will do it in 13.1 sec.....in RS form...12.9 sec

What if you use the VCD controller to make the VII more like a RWD car. Would it perform better in 1/4 mile?

Like I've said before, it's not that simple and I'm not saying this because of reading mags, playing video games, or just plain guessing.
