MichaelK, I agree with you regarding the people in the MLR, yet I use their forum frequently considering the amounts of useful info on our cars. I'm sure this forum someday will be just as good, or even better , yet no useful info on evos is ever asked since most questions and answers to almost any scenario regarding our cars, be it performance or plain mechanical/maintenance question has been answered on the MLR. I hate the people, yet a very useful tool. Agree with me?

No probs here with Claudius. Like I said, he has lots to offer, yet he can easily offend when sharing his knowledge. He's been around the MLR for longer than most people there, ande I'm sure he was as clueless as most of us in the beginning. Hope he doesn't bite me. No grudges, no hate here bro.

1 quick crx, I remember you. You that guy that pulled up, right before I was about to get some head, and started asking me if I had an import license or something. Bro, if you want more info, read what I wrote on this post, should explain to you how I go about importing a car.

NYC EVO, car is street legal, yep, one of a few on the road (Evo 5 I mean). I always hear bad things regarding Hunts Point, cops always **** wit you, the'll pull anybody they feel like pulling over, and a few other things. Maybe during the summer, on a real busy day, I'll swing by to see what's it all about. I rmember my BK Fountain Ave days, any resemblance to that scene (excluding the loud rotaries)?

 

i was in hunts pt last weekend.. actually zerega.. but anyway... we pulled over at a spot.. to watch the races.. and bam to DT's in a luminba pulled up and blocked like 3 or 4 of us in and gave us all disorderly conduct tickets.. you didnt have ID you spend the night in jail.. its pretty strict.. but besides the cops.. pictures like 100-150 cars just going nuts.. hondas to beamers to lexus's anything you can think of.. ****.. a while back there was a TT rotary corolla wagon doing donuts in the middle of the street.. this was when i had my other car wich i included a picture of.. i crash it in november.. but its ok cause i got another one that im building.. but yo jigga.. we should smoke a blunt one day.. im always down at industrials in freeport.. there used to be racing there back in the day but the cops ****ed it all up.. i got a unauthorized speed contest ticket there. it was my first one when i had my permit.. lol.. i got another one of those tickets like 7 months ago.. and i still dont have my license back.. guess it comes with the sport.. haha.. im gonna go.. gotta get my **** inspected.. speaking of inspection.. how the hell you get that thing inspected?

No inspection required, Florida is a clean air state, which equals no emmissions. Then again, inspection is the least of my worries, even if my car was registered in NYC.

MichaelK, how did you learn ghetto english? I was just reading the **** we wrote about girls in car terminology, and you was on point. Tell me thats how people are talking in Germany so I can laugh a bit. I remember watching a german Hip Hop video with the GZA from the Wu Tang, and the kids all looked like some punk moufous. I think the name of the song was Ich Lebe Fur Hip Hop, cause that's all GZA was saying (the chorus). I think it was DJ Tommek or some bull**** like that. Tell me about the hardcore scene out there. I heard is off the wall. I'll be in Portugal at the end of the month, probably Spain and the UK, but my time is limited (1 week). I'm defienetely going to the UK (car parts shopping for shizzle), and I need to scope out an R33 V-Spec for a friend.

yo i would keep away from that spot in freeport.. me and my boy got arrestead there today for smoking and they found some weed.. took his car and we got cuffed to a bench for like 6 hours.. it was a bunch of bull****.. i got cut lose witn nothing but hes gotta goto court and hes out a car now.. watch out down there bro i dont wana see the freeport police get themselves a RHD lancer...guess its time to find a new spot to chill.. oh well least im not in jail.. but yea that car was nice.. i crashed it pretty bad.. both rear 1/4's were whipped.. the wheels.. they are 5 zigen inperios.. 17's jigga.. you got aim or aol?

 

IMHO, no offense to anyone but crashing the car, getting your license taken away, getting cuffed, going to court, all that stuff doesn't seem all that cool to me.

Check this out, I go to I-club (WRX, scooby club) and they think them WRXs are the baddest thing made on earth. They take so much pride on their fugly looking cars and think they can take anything it's such a joke. My buddy has this convertible eclipse (yes a convertible), and this car does 12s in the 1/4 mile, yet them scoobys kids think they can take on a built eclipse it's so damn funny!!!

 

well EVO.. its not like it al hapened at the same time.. the thing with getting arrestead happened yesturday at a place where i have seen jigga chillin with his girl.. figured ide warn him before he gets the same ****.. the crashing the car happened in november 2 days b3fore my birthday... and the losing license that happened in january. guess i have been having a string of bad luck.. oh well.

 

EvoSoul, unfortunately **** happens. I've been down that road myself a few times, and I can tell you that I have an extensive amount of knowledge regarding the traffic penal code/violations because I've been through 'em all. I've had a serious accident in the past, and I know the melancholy it can bring to one's life.

Bro, thanks for warining me about freeport. Tell you the truth, I've been avoiding that spot (haven't been back there since you last saw me). That day I saw mr. piggy pull into the docks and question those kids that were chillin at the opposite end from me. I guess they were just checking up to ensure they weren't smokin and drinkin, yet cops make me extremely paranoid, enough for me to avoid a place forever. I haven't driven to sufolk county for a long time now because of **** I wen't through out there (harrassment is a *****). Sorry, no AIM (I hate AOL to the fullest). Change of subject: I'm going to Baltimore this weekend for the importeurasia show at some convention center out there. For more info., check out their website www.importeurasia.com . WOW that was u, im pissed i missed u. I rem that day and i know the guy who owns (more like leases) the navigator. i pulled up just as u left tha place (also had the munchies) i never saw u or the car again after that and as for his gurl i think she messed araund and got dismissed (neigborhood **** or somthing) really sad to see the car go ebay.

Ummm, How about no. On i-Club, we respect other car companies and our own cars, incuding the 2.5RS and WRX. You rarey see a thread down talking any car company (besides Honda) and the EVO is actually appreciated on i-Club. Their have been many threads such as "Which To Get, STI or EVO" and you'd be supprised how may people say EVO. DSM cars are also spoken highly of as many owners used to have these cars.

This is the first time I've been on this forum so I m not goin' to critisize what I don't know. You shouldn't either.
