I have ecu flash, 330 injectors plus more. I will either, get a "hook up" or... just go back to stock for a day and then reinstall. But i think it is too much work to reinstall turbo.. Its a crap load of work..
well it's a combination of things. in MD you wouldn't pass emissions if u miss minor things like (visual inspection: worn out wiper blades, 5sec. gauge test[CEL, ABS, Oil, etc], missing lug nuts, light malfunctions[headlight etc]. AND if you are dumb enough to go through emissions driving with a spare donut tire.
my cuz failed emissions eventhough they are not even related to something that would harm the environment. my cuz failed because of tinted windows lol.
emissions guy- u need ur tinted windows removed by a "state certified" shop
cuz- why can't i just remove the tint here, right away?
eg- i'm sorry sir but we have certain regulations to follow.
the next thing you know he had to pay $200 bucks to get a signature from a state inspector, return to the emissions place and show his papers so he could pass emissions.
if MD is that bad, imagine cali. the holy grail of emission standards

well i recently did my smog check with my rrm piggy back vr 1 on and passed the check you at 15mph and 25 mph. everything was about 1-2 points higher than the average read which is really good my NOx level was a little high in the 25mph range thats because of the piggy back leaning out the fuel the funny thing is my CO% was half a point lower than average hahaha had the guy scratching his head for a bit. The guy who did my check has been doing smog for like 25 years. I had an exhaust and AEM cai too he just made sure i hade the second cat on and tha i hadnt bypassed any emission related items. He checked my carb sticker and then said thanks have nice day. Oh and they do plug into the OBDII scanner.
30 bucks to be smoged here. They turn the car on and stick something in the exhaust. Puts out an emission number. You pass and be on your way or fail and pay the guy an extra 50 for him to "pass" you.
