Ok me and my friend have been arguing about our cars forever. So I'm asking others opinion. Who would win in a drag/street race? My 08 Lancer GTS CVT or a 00 Integra LS Automatic. Both cars are basically stock.

only way the integra would even come close if it's with the b18 c5

i believe a b18c pushes about 197hp USDM spec and a 08 lancer pushes 150 and dont forget the power to weight ratio, a integra i would believe is significantly lighter then a lancer, plus the b18c is famous for its high revs where it redlines at around 8500rpm

so if the integra had a b18c the lancer would lose hands down in both drag and track

no competition

dont underestimate the b18c and its capibilities

but in this case of a LS which only has a b18a which has roughly about 140hp while being an automatic which is only 4 gears and the lancer cvt has 6

a b18a produces 140hp with 117 torque
a lancer has 150hp with 146 torque

i would say that is very evenly matched, very tough choice

if i had 2 say i would say the integra, due to its power to weight ratio

but who knows i could b totally wrong cause myb im secretly a honda fanboy

i use to own an 01 integra LS and that thing was such a fun car 2 drive and mod... so much companys making parts for a honda lol

 

integra ftw if its the 2 door

dunno about the 4 door though

 

Take your cars to the local dragstrip and find out...
