This thread is not about buying an EVO. If all you are going to post is buy an EVO, please do not post in this thread. I am personally tired of that comment coming from EVO drivers/fanboys.

 

you are just another ignorant mitsu fan boy that does not know what they are talking about. i love my evo its a great car and all. its a much better car than my boosted fwd integra but the honda vtec engine are still far superior. the evo is just a better car

but

honda engines (k series for example) are superiour because of of the vtec cylinder head design. thay will out flow any other head out there. on pump gas it is common for a k series to be able to make 250whp all motor!!!. this is not going to happen in a all motor mitsu engine no matter how you build it

you can take any mitsu engine and a same displacement k series or even a b series engine and build them with forged internals with the same compression and use the same turbo. the vtec honda engine will make much more power per pound of boost

its all because of the superior head design which had a much higher VE (Volumetric Efficiency)
