You're comparing a turbocharged motor to an NA motor, you might as well compare apples to oranges and say one is a better fruit. Take the turbo off of the 4B11 (or the 4G63) and see how much power it makes and see how well it responds to mods. There is/was a Honda that competes with the evo, it's called the NSX. There's a reason why people pay top dollar for an NSX or an Integra Type R.

Are Mitsubishi and Subaru in F1? Nope. Are they in any kind of open-wheel racing? Nope. Are they common in SCCA? Nope. Le Mans? Nope. Indy Car? Nope. So maybe you should actually know what the hell you are talking about before you come across as just another ignorant fanboy who can't see past his own brand.

Oh and just so you know, Mitsubishi officially left rally racing so I guess your lancer is just another econobox (like it was a rally car in the first damn place, lol).

hahaha im not hating on them but they are not on top of my list. im not saying my car is a racing car. but mitsu is known for racing. as of all the hatin you did on me no one answered the question why is honda a better mottor than mitsu? not better but 'by far superior' why? also its not because i own a mitsu. i v also owned VW wich i still think is a better car then honda. my point was that when you look at honda what do you see? cheap , reliable , good on gas, does the job from point a to point b. so where does the superrior come from? oh and where is the nsx now????im also a fan of BMW and Mercedes, Audi , Lexus and i never had any of them so dont tell me that past my brand crap.

Lol Honda is far more associated with racing than Mitsubishi, especially since Mitsubishi is only officially in one form of racing now (Dakar). I'm sorry but go and ask 10 motorsports fanatics who is a bigger racing company, Honda or Mitsubishi and I bet you the majority will say Honda. This is why Honda makes some of the best motors and chassis' out there, they actually test different technologies under racing conditions and then apply that to their street cars. Mitsubishi won't be doing this anymore so kiss that "rally car on the street" evo goodbye (as some people feel has happened with the X). Honda has a way of making their heads flow extremely well, almost freakishly well and they apply all the technology they have to making very competent and very quick cars considering their displacement. As an obvious example, they had a 1.8 liter motor making over 200 hp without any form of forced induction. When the NSX came out (early 90s), it competed with cars that cost 2 to 3 times what it did (ie. Ferraris, Porsches, BMWs, etc). It was lightweight and performed far better than anyone expected considering it's power output. So cut it with this anti-Honda crap, hell, the tuning scene wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Honda.

And? Acuras been competing and winning for years. Moreover, I'm guessing you're talking about the WORKS lancer which isn't factory supported so it's not Mitsubishi competing. You might as well attribute every rallying Subaru to Subaru (which would essentially make Subaru responsible for 50% of the cars rallying now).

i couldnt find anywhere saying mitsubishi is officialy leaving racing. but while looking for it i found this 'Willows, CA – David Bongiovanni won the season opener of the Nitto Tires United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC) at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA on March 9, 2008 driving the same Mitsubishi Evo that Dave Brown used to win the 2006 Driver’s Championship.'

Mitsubishi officially left WRC months ago (which apart from Dakar was the only real outlet for Mitsubishi). In the info you found, note how the person won the race using a car from 2006.

Because I live in Canada and AWD is a big plus. No there currently are no Hondas as fast on paper stock as my car but the RSX Type-S or the SI are pretty damn quick for what they are. Moreover, that's irrelevant since your premises seemed to be that A. Honda isn't a racing company, which they are and B. Honda doesn't make performance cars or performance engines, which they do. I'm sorry but I can't help it if you keep on saying things that are blatantly wrong.

Oh and just because I drive a Subaru doesn't mean I don't admire or envy Honda. I love how they can make big power NA, or how they can rev to the moon or how they can handle incredibly well for a FWD car.
