Hopefully development on the nav system internals will hit a breakthrough and allow for custom programs to be run. (Not very likely) But if that does miraculously happen I will definitely be looking into an iPod integration + ripping system.

eh? From what I can see on the Mistu Cars website, the ES & GTS FAST Key comes with the Sun & Sound Package for the '09s. It doesn't mention "FAST Key" in the ES "Sport Package". When I bought my GTS ('08 model) the FAST Key system was part of the "Technology Package", which isn't offered anymore.

Man, with the possibilities of that system and how they just got around to cracking the code to get the DVD to play while driving. I think anything is possible now. I believe they are working on a program to put on there to customize the screens and whatnot, like have backgrounds...

I also think the possibility of them hacking it to rip mp3 cds is high.

Same here. I think it comes with the Sun & Sound Package.

The navi is worth the $$, but not necessary.

I'm glad I got my navi... I love it, but it's 100% not necessary. It's handy as all hell to have though, and the fact that it's stock means it looks like it actually belongs there.

After market solutions can look good if installed properly, but very few look "stock".
