RRM is very well priced for new parts IMO. If you look at the 02-06 lancer parts you can tell as time goes on items depreciate in price as does cars. Overall it's a bargain considering they are making car specific parts. K&N can make all the filters they want but if you go with RRM SRI you at least know your getting a high quality item from people that are focused on your car only. 4k for a turbo kit for a car that's not even a year old is awesome. When you guys run the 1/4 or if you do, you gotta let me know your time. I'm really curious to see the max potential of the car.

And guys, keep in mind that no car has a slew of parts when it's first released, especially when the manufacturer redesigns the next years model. If you want parts, expect to pay more than what a 90's or even an 04 is paying for them.

Back on topic? you guys got anything new on the RRM lancer? I love pics

rrm...when u dynoed the lancer with the turbo kit, was the rest of car stock? if not what was on it

also, if we throw kit on the car, plus the bolt ons that u offer, what are we lookin at in terms of competition? either cars that are modded or stock

well if you compare lancer to say oh..scion TC theres much more aftermarket support and they got it rather quickly and prices for those items are lot cheaper.

turbo kits i seen for the TC start as low as 2600 bucks and ithe highest ive seen as of now is 3900

lancers been out what like 2 years now? i think more companies should start getting on board now.

To help people out, I spent 1000$ just on an exhaust for my car. People are spending 2000$ on just a turbo, no other parts and 800$ on an upgraded top mount intercooler. What's included with RRMs kits? You get the turbo (1000$), intercooler (I'll be conservative with 500$), BOV (200$), wastegate (say 200$), manifold and O2 housing(500$?), all piping (probably another 500$ or more), ECU (lets say 400$), all miscellaneous hoses and wires (maybe 200$) and of course, RRM instructions and service which is priceless. Just with my rudimentary math, we're at 3500$ which doesn't include any labor costs or the research and development that went into making the kit. I wouldn't be surprised if my numbers were way off either. Try and find a turbo kit for the Mazda3, I only know of one company that is making one equivalent to RRMs (Tri-Point Engineering) and it costs 4000$ at an introductory price, it may go up. That's not far off what RRM is charging.
The new Mini comes stock turbo, it's easier to make a kit for a car that has a sibling that is already modified in that manner.

Well don't forget that Scion offers factory support for their cars, you can drive to the dealership, buy a supercharger and have it installed under warranty.

true dat, but most ppl with scions get turbos if they want max power.... like my friend did. I wish ralliart would come out with some factory proformace parts. that would be awsome!
