what do u use the hooks for

Tow hooks. They go in the little removable cap on your front and rear bumper

 

Hah, funny that I was just looking for hooks. You're not going to make them carbon fiber and charge $200 per pop, are you?

 

I'll pass on the hooks. How about the front lip that was supposed to be made many many months ago? Something similar to the 09 R/A would be perfect. You have tons of parts already available. The only thing missing is a simple and stylish front lip!

 

i have been waiting for a company to produce towhooks actually made and fitted to our cars!
i have seen a few 08+ lancers with universal tow hooks and they stick out way too much.
any additional info on your hooks? (style, material, colours,...price, etc.)

 

We are starting on the hooks tomorrow. Lip in the spring again.

what the hell do u need tow hooks for? ive only seen em on drift/race cars..and daaaamn lol they huge.. from what ive read here they wont be that outrageous but what, u plannin on ur car breakin down ne time soon? only other purpose i see for them is holdin the car down on a trailer if ur takin it to track cuz its not street legal...enlighten me plz


r they gonna be concealed by the caps or they gonna be stickin out for "show"

 

not all of them are huge! lol
and i would be lying if i said they weren’t partly for show.
but, for people who do track days, it’s good to have if you suck. :P
i had tow hooks on my mini and they came in handy on a rainy track day when i went onto the grass and got stuck...

lol, I would love to see a preproduction of hte front lip, cuz I have 400 dollars I want to spend but not sure If i should get the CF Splitter or wait to see what the lip looks like

 

A front lip trumps a front splitter any day. Just wait for it.

 

Good news is that the Front Lip is finally going to get done. PRolly start again next week. Found someone new to shape it for us.
