no one is hurting you. the purpose of a forum is for people to discuss their opinions which leads to arguments since everyone thinks differently and theres nothing wrong with that. let people discuss the product all they want.

 

I can make this same product with the same idea but make the gain of the amplifier higher claiming it works faster and better and more "efficient" then I could sell the product without infringing patent.

My point is someone can easily make one for themselves or a friend, it's not like the police are going door to door making sure you're not breaking patent laws.
I've been on this forum a lot longer than you have Evo_soul and I've watched things like this come and go. I've even been hurt by people massively overhyping products with no proof and no logic behind it.

For me, its good to talk to someone who has tried it out and made up his own mind. He gave his opinion of it and thats to me more important. His opinion is grounded in personal experience. Look, you dont have to post there, I just wanted to see you go up against the EVO X guys because it would be interesting. Its about time we put these tired arguments to rest at least between us. Its been an entertaining debate but other projects call. The reason why I am done at least arguing with you is because I can clearly see, by your own words that you have a beef with this company and product. The reason why I fault your position is because, early on in this, you stated that the same thing can be accomplished with a tune. Which meant it doesnt matter how it gets done, it does none the less improve your throttle response. honeslty for the price i paid for it i thought it was relitivly good, but then again u know i could have gotten it on sale type thing. i mean the reason y i bought it, its cause of the hype iv been hearing about it, and all the rave i hear about it on BMW forums/ audi forums, and just people in general that iv talked 2 about this product have really never said anything bad about this product, it was all possitive and i thought id give it a try 2 c wht the hype was all about, and that i didnt mind spending 100 on something 2 c wht the hype was about

pricing wise i think the product should be significantly cheaper, because if u think about it, u can get pivot racing's for under 300, and u can set it urself, kinda like the blitz 1

and as for testing out the product the only thing i can think of is if u take identical cars, 1 with it in and 1 without and had people test it and asked without telling people which 1 is which, can u feel any difference? kinda like a pepsi taste challenge

Neither Amby or I have a beef with the company itself. In fact Spring Boost are actually very good. They've created a basic product, marketed it well, and clearly state what it does on their site. They don't lie about the product or make any bold outrageous claims that it is the miracle cure for all your CVT woes.
All of that hype has been created by you and a few select others.
I think the price is a bit stupid, but if they can get away with selling a $50 product for $300 I don't blame them.

I do not doubt the ability of this product to increase the signal from your throttle pedal. I don't doubt that it makes your car "feel" faster either. However the ridiculous notion that somehow this product will help your CVT learn a more aggressive driving style better, Or that the gains you get are any different than just hitting the gas pedal harder is absurd.

This product physically CANNOT do anything more than what your foot can. It's literally impossible. It's been clearly stated by the manufacturer and other third party testers what this product does. And that simply is, apply more gas than your actually are.

The manufacturer clearly states what this product does and doesn't do, you are the one adding more and more to it. You have no conclusive data to back up your "feeling" and the only data you do have is generic CVT information pulled from Mitsubishi's website.

You need to pull your head out of the clouds and realize what your claiming is physically impossible. If you want to do your test, then go ahead. I guarantee it will turn out to prove only one thing..........the SB amplifies the signal from your gas pedal. Which guess what?......we already know!

This product does not give any performance increase whatsoever. If you think otherwise then you are simply delusional.
Like I keep saying, save your $300 and buy something that will actually improve your car.

i stop responding after people act like they know everything about the CVT..none of you downing the thing hardcore have or have driven a CVT..i can tell you for a fact that the car ist going to respond the same way if i slam my foot on the pedal of a car..opposed to having a sprint booster..sure it may be "impossible" but like i said im sure there has been no extensive testing with this product on a CVT Equipped car. if i was sprint booster i would stay safe and stay what with the product was made to do and not claim any gains..now if it actually does prove some sort of gains then okay..nobody here is an expert so its pointless going back and forth...

unless someone who has a CVT car and has tested this product comes in here with valid info..the rest is just arguing back and forth on what you think you know.
