i know what you were stating but i just dont understand why... no one mentioned that performance and suspension wise the evo x and gts are similar.... hence why i didnt see the need for your post ranting about the differences between the two models.

Still cant get over that 4 other people bumped your thread before me huh? You said the Evo and the GTS are very similar....their not. Don't lie, both you and I know better. Alot is different including body wise.

i didnt say the evo is very similar to the gts i simply answered the OPS question he asked

"does the evo hood fit the gts" i replied that yes all 2008-2010 LANCERS are the same, including the hood.

what i meant was yes the evo hood fits the gts, also fits the es and de. thats all i meant no where in that statement did i say they were similar.


Anyway ill lay this to rest if you thought i meant that the evo and gts are the same im sorry i didnt mean for you to infer that from what i said.

 

I work for Continental mitsu and ive been asked if the hood fits on the lancer and tell u the truth they are the same size hood from what i see but i asked parts today and they said no way the demision is different and u have to chop it down some

is this true

im asking cuz im going to be getting a lancer 2012 gt and im wanting the hood on it and i no it will work but i have to no so if any one comes in i can let them no plzz help me out guys

 

there have been comments that the 2012 lancer hood lines "look" different, so there may be a chance something changed, I dont know for sure. I do know that a 2008 evo x hood fits an 08-10 lancer, i have a 2009 lancer with an oem 2008 evo x hood on it.

Yes the Evo X - Ralliart - Hoods fit on the Gts, DE, ..... REALLY IMPORTANT BUYING TIP = When buying a stock ralliart hood / Evo x hood make sure it comes with the center scoop and both the left and right vents. I made that mistake with my totaled RA. The Right vent alone cost around $200 OEM. A mistake I hope no one else makes :'(

 

U can check out the vendors for a cf hood if u want an Oem one check out the marketplace on here and other evo or lancer forums, Craigslist, or eBay .
Gotta have patients for this.
