the lancer is slow, no doubt about it. gotta spend a nice sum of money to make it decently fast...can't really do it will n/a.

im thinking of either a camaro or 2g dsm...for one, lancer is an auto and i want a stick, been driving my 91 mazda pickup 5spd instead of my lancer...just cuz its a stick. lol

update. i had the same mods and i added the piggy back. i now run a 17.8 alll day. its better. i just bought a cam for it and an adjustable ecu. lil more cash but it will be fun to do. the piggy back if for sale if anyone wants it. i will put a post in the for sale pages next. but like i said it gave me .5 seconds in the 1/4.

OK, I have a question here.

I know it's not perfect and people knock it, but I bought a first-gen G-tech cheap.

When I only had a Buschur downpipe, it said I ran 17.05 with me and one passenger (figure 400 lbs. of human).

Now, I know auto isn't as fast or effective as manual, but is there THAT big a difference? I haven't run since I added all the mods, but I'd hope to be faster now.
