Side license mount need help
Was searching a bit but couldn't come up with what I need to know right now.
Currently what is the best fit for the 2011 GTS side mount license plate?
So far I've only found a couple.
1st is the Evo oem mount (dealership)
2nd is RRM mount (RRM site)
3rd is EVOsoul mount (couldn't find where to purchase?)
4th is the mount on ebay being sold by Scorpion Aerodynamics (eBay)
Am I missing any?

Try here. The EVO mount works well/looks'best' IMHO.

At the top and inboard side it fits perfectly. The outboard side fits well until halfway down and then it does have a .5" gap (where the EVO wider fenders start). Not too noticable (especially on a dark colored car). Or just get the metal license braket (no gaps) but looks kinda'... cheesy (to me).
I would prefer a GTS-designed one... but until then...

I sell a mount online which is different from the EVO X OEM mount. I sell it to offset the sponsor costs of operating the Toronto Lancer Club section here on evolutionm.net . I am the Admin of our car club. I do not advertise my mount on evolutionm and have kept this stance for about 3 years.
My version of the mount is different from OEM one, when i saw guys mounting the EVO X one I found that it would obstruct the fog light if you mounted it too low. The mount I have fits the contour of the bumper along the top, so it is not really possible to screw up the install unless you are drunk. out of the many I have sold, I only had one guy manage to install it up-side-down.
The feedback against my sign is that the angle of the mount isnt as good as the EVO X mount, but when you actually go to measure the angle, its really only different by a few degrees.
Rick Chong has a mount in the range about 70 bucks, the OEM one ranges from 30 to 50, mine comes in at about 37. All options are good, your biggest worry should be what to do with the centre nose area once you remove the screws. If you were lucky enough to net get your front nose section drilled, then your good

hope that helps
Who is Rick Chong? Where can I find his mount?
I do have screws in the center but I was planning to vinyl over it, get it wrapped but I still need to figure how to cover those 2 holes up... maybe I should get it bondo and painted....

I used an oem evo sidemount for my 2010 GTS, like you've heard, it doesnt exactly line up. The evo's front bumper has different dimensions then the GTS. However, its barely noticeable and it looks great. You have to literally be looking for it to notice it; its less maybe a couple mm's off. To an untrained eye, it looks like its made for the car.

This is a really old photo of the car, it looks much different now, but its an idea of what it looks like. The part that curves all the way to the right is the part where the fitment is a tad bit off. But again, it's really not noticeable.
