I know I've been slow to update, but believe me, the car is undergoing a MAJOR transformation right now, many more pictures and updates to come soon. Yesterday we got these Custom 13.0:1 Pistons from Wiseco! That's a lot of squish!!!

Much progress has been made in the past few days. We now have the rear axles complete and ready to roll! Using Wilwood Superlite 4 piston calipers, and bilstein ASN Aluminum monotube shocks. All secured to a modified and strengthened lower control arm. Topped off with some BRAID wheels.

More to come very soon! Thanks for keeping track of our build!

Hi, great progress.

You mentioned bilstein ASN Aluminum monotube shocks, would you share the part numbers please.
I noticed an Eibach box, what kit is that ?

Also what are you using on the front?

Thanks.

They are ASN's however, I had them custom valved for me by Bilstein for Rally use. They are not direct off the shelf parts. I'm not certain yet if the spring rate is correct. Won't know until I can drive the car. Please understand, none of this is bolt on for a Lancer. I adapted the shock top, and the lower control arm so the ASN's could then be bolted in. It was done in such a way though that a user could bolt back in stock parts, so nothing is irreversible, and no welding on the car is required. If anyone wants to know more about how it was done, please contact me directly.
The fronts will be Bilstein's new motorsport inverted monotube strut. These are a hard core 46mm strut, absolutely ready for everything rally can do to your suspension. Hope to have those from Bilstein in January.

Sorry a couple of those are huge, I'm not sure why. I reduced the size (I thought), but something didn't work. As many of you know, cars are my thing, not so much computers...

I'm sure people won't complain. Good stuff! I look forward to more progress.

We see tons of Lancers geared towards street use but few if any for Rally use. Loving it!
