TRF builds a G2 Lancer Rally Car
I am so exited about this car. I just realized that TRF also built the Volvo 240 that i saw at 100 acre wood rally in 2011. My winter car is a 1987 Volvo 760 and I Rallycross it.
Will The lancer be at 100 acre woods rally in Feb?

Thanks everyone! We're sure putting a lot of effort into it! We sure expect to be at 100 Acre Woods this February.
We did also build that Volvo, that car is owned by Jay and Ian Topping. They hope to be at 100 Acre Woods this spring as well.
Scott Harvey Jr. Will drive the Lancer at all major events. He's a talented and experienced driver, we're glad to have him on board! I'm sure I will drive a few lesser events, regionals, rally-X's, TSD's, etc.

you guys have a great site.
I was in your gallery looking at pictures and i have two questions -
#1 - in the 2003 OZ folder is a absolutely sweet looking exhaust. is that for sale though your shop or was that a custom piece ?
#2 - its great that you showed the pics of the roll cage on the subaru. great integrity on the welds.... but what on god's green earth did that car hit ??? wow.
anyways I'm eagerly waiting on any updates you guys can share. Good luck next month !!

#2: The Impreza wagon was competing at Sno*Drift (can't remember what year), and went off the road going over 60mph and hit a tree, then rolled into another tree, and rolled again. The car was a complete loss, both occupants walked away.
The Lancer did great this past weekend, at it's first official event! We placed 2nd in G2 on Friday, and 3rd on Saturday. We also took home 1st in Sno*Attack, a weekend long 2wd regional only competition! We couldn't be more proud of our team's effort!
Our teammates in their 242 Volvo took 2nd place on Saturday, the only day they could make the event. Another TRF build on the podium!
More "action" and car pictures to come.

First off, great work with the car. I love how you are keeping the lancer spirit alive with building off this chassis.
Although as previously mentioned, the large front lights aren't my thing... but i'm sure that helps you see really well!!
Great job on the project overall!!!
