The Ethanol motor is alive!!!
Our rally car is now burning corn! The 13.0:1 motor is in the car, and breathing on it's own! Only a drive around the block so far, much tuning and tweaking to be done yet, but already a very noticeable increase of torque, and HP. We're pretty excited! Not yet confirmed, but we believe the blue valve cover is worth at least 15 HP by itself!
Special thanks to the following for their help:
Delta camshaft, who built a cam specifically for our odd ball application: http://deltacam.com/
Wiseco Piston, who also worked with us to build 13.0:1 4G94 Pistons: http://www.wiseco.com/
Rad Coatings: Who made the matching blue valve cover: http://radcoatings.com/

So, as many of you already know, I'm a little tech-slow. Keeping up with my usual pace, here are a few pictures from STPR '13. Thanks to Alex Hugen Photography for the images!

Taking a break this summer, lots of work here at the shop, and the guys on the team need some time back to their day jobs. Next event: LSPR.

Thank you,
It's very flattering to hear our work is inspiring. We are just trying to do the best we can at everything we do. No one will ever say we didn't give it our all.
Best way to get into rally is to start volunteering at events. You'll learn more, and meet more people in the know faster than any other way. Often teams are looking for help on service crews too, just have to make a commitment to be out there, and take in everything you can.
