whos got the fastest NA lancer???
To lighten up the car, I saw in a superstreet article where they took a chisel and scraped off all the black gooey rubber undercoating on the car. It is that noise deadening crap that they spray on the bottom of you car. When they were all done it took over 50lbs off the vehicle. Put it up on the hoist and you'll see where all that junk is at. Its useless.. Then take out all the carpet, back seats, spare tire and jack, trunk trim, door panel trim, passanger seat, get a racing seat for driver side, take out the dash so that only the gauge cluster is mounted on a piece of aluminum. lol. That would actually take off 200 or 300 lbs I'm guessing. At the most.. That is, if you are really serious about shaving down your times. Also, to take off another 30-50lbs, get a cf trunk, hood, fenders, front bumper, and take off the heavy crash bumpers and replace them with custom welded piece of light weight alloy. And if you are REALLY REALLY serious, switch everything over to titanium bolts. My barber customizes crotch rockets and he reduced the weight of a bike by 2 or 3 lbs just on using titanium bolts alone.. the thing is they cost alot, but look nice. In your hand, they feel like a feather, but are super strong.

SRI
Stage 2 cam with springs
emanage with timing harness and support tool tuned with a real wideband
bored TB
ported G93 manifold
ported head
header
2.25" DP
Tein SS dampers
Falken Azenis sport for rubber
splitter/front wing
No doubt Wadad is gonna be quick, but I think the tuning flexibility of my setup will give me the advantage.

I might be the fastest at this point who posts and who's car is still running but you all know that Petey Pab is the fastest NA to date at 16.218.
I'm going to hit the track tomorrow with these new tires I have but I fear that after resetting the ECU to install and AFC device that the car will not run at it's best untuned state.
I hope you run well Eboy. I want to know what all that tuning is capable of.

You might as well just buy a WBO2- I had the same "problem" and then thought "wait! That's retarded. I can spend $300 on a WBO2 and get unlimited runs OR pay $300 for 2.5 hours of tuning with a WB on a dyno" It was an easy choice after that
If the UPS tracking system is accurate, I have the zeitronix zt-2 waiting at home right now. It'll only take me about an hour to do the wiring and welding. Total for that was $309 with an extra O2 bung and 2 day air shipping.
And really, I don't care about the 1/4 mile- it's the AX course that I spend my time on. It'll be nice to see times around 16 sec, though.
good luck WADAD and let us know how you do

well - good luck you guys. I was hoping to be the first into the 15's but if not..... maybe we can have our own "15 second club"
Besides if someone goes down there - it gives me something else to shoot for. Hell, if all else fails... i'll get a RPW crate motor. So there
BTW - Eboy... didn't know you had a cam. Thought wad and U9v were the only ones running a cammer. Good luck regardless.

There's
Firechicken
Hardcoretuner and
KansasLancer.. that also have cams out there.
I have a tuning question eboy. I going to type in an already existing thread.
Also did you get the ZT-2 with out the gauge? Are you doing to datalog with your palm pilot? Is that what you have? I don't have a laptop.
Anyway look for the SAFC thread I need something answered.

eboy are you gonna data log your zeitronix w/ your emanage? i was plannin on getting the plx m300 and log with the emanage... but if the zeitronix can do it and for a few bucks cheaper i think i would go with that.
If you dont have a laptop you'll have to get a digital display meaning more $. The zeitronix can datalog. I have one myself just need a data logger before I start doing anything with it or the emanage. I hate waiting.
yeah the plx comes with a display and all for 315... and its out put is linear so you can data log and pick out your afr... guys on the emanage groups data log with it, once i get everything in im gonna find out exactly how to hook it all up.

the PLX has the display, but doesn't log at the $315 price (you have to buy the $500 model to get the logger)- it's as useless as a 4 assed monkey! I was just looking over the zeitronix instructions and I think I'm gonna try to log in conjunction with the eManage.
