yay! I thought Turbo OZ's are in the mid 13's? Or that's just RRM's project OZ?

 

Intercooled OZs with internals are in the 13s and low 14s. Most other ones are high 14s to mid 15s. Number one reason I would rather drag race a Nova and keep my Lancer for the corners.

well i think i got all the bugs worked out of the piggy back I dont think the conections were good, after working with boe i think i got all the connections solid with some good soldering. Plus i not only blew and exhuast gasket last week i found out that i was racing with only one nut holbing my downpipe on, can you say no backpressure. Well the car feels solid now and i hope to run it this weekend, I know think 15's might be in reach we will see.

that's funny man...same thing happened to me..i was drivin around and my exhaust went to ****..couldn't figure out why till i was revvin the engine under the hood..and the downpipe/header bolts were spinnin around loose..
lil lock-tite fixed that..

 

going racing tomorrow cant wait!!! will post up times tomorrow night.

best run of the day was a 16.5 had a 2.2 60' on one run too, will post ups some exact numbers tomorrow. I ran 16.5 and 16.6 all day. Not to bad since i was running 16.7 and 16.8 last time out. Beat a couple cars like a v6 mustang an older jetta a nd a 2.5 impreza all with bad drivers...but a win is a win.

Run 2 was an all around better run, as you can see im nailing the launch now my r/t and 60' times are great, seems like im suffering in top end. the big thing i noticed is I am in 3rd at the fuel cut right before the line i tried doing it 2 ways 1 shifting to fourth=slower times 2 not shifting and faster times. I am not sure what i can do to fix the top end more, i dont want to use the test pipe sounds bad and just killed my 60' times. A 2.2 60' was better than my friends srt4 so i know i got that down. I am starting to think its time to call Rob and order more parts, intake mani and throttle body are next I need to get some more air in. Those of you who have run better than this where are you time slips different than mine is it top end or what?? Plus what mods are you running, I know I have alot My car feels very good now its consitant, I think I am learing more about the car every time I race. There are 2 weeks off til the next race so I have some time to do some work, we will see.

that looks nice...well all igot is an intake (filter/adapter) and soon ill have headers and full headerback exhaust at 2.5" (im gonna get kamikaze headers probably) so i was tryin to see what people with those mods did, than i think im gonna go Rhyzins way and swap the MAS and get an s-afc and tune my car for more HP.

 

well, im gettin my header this week (hopefully), so ill run on wednesday night and post times.

 

I'm getting my CF hood next week then the new CPU from Roadrace, I'll then dominate in the pimping field. As for track
times, screw the 1/4 mile for the OZ unless you steal roadrace's drag lancer. h0h0h0!

 

so has anyone ran better than a 16.18??? or am i the fastest??? that would be cool....lmao
