In my humble opinion. I think that evo owners don't get why we like our lancers so much. You know if i type in lancer parts in google i get 5,000,000 things for the damned evo! Parts for our cars are much harder to find. And most of the mods we all have are either the same or custom. so we have a tighter community us lancer guys.. and girls.. if you like yur evo enjoy your evo there are evo threads for a reason.

Personally I give props to anyone who loves their car, whether it be an old Ford Escort or a one of a kind re-built chopped 40's truck. There's a whole lot of stuff you can learn from everyone in the car scene...

I'd say for the most part everyone on these boards seem really cool. It's the tools that get a good car and treat it like trash that **** me off... For as you remember in the Bible it says, "Those who treat their ride like garbage will burn in hell." And if it isn't there it should be.

I got a killer deal on my 04' lancer, almost a $25k difference compared to an EVO. Assuming someone would stick that into a lancer imo you'd have a car thats better than a stock evo and it would have your personal style. They are both great cars for the price hands down. I'm not sure I'd buy an Evo if I had that much to spend on a car but it would definately be on the top of my list, and anyone that puts detication into there car should'nt be ****ted on especial by members of the same line of car.

 

I grew up in a garage and have owned 24 cars to date...everything from aircooled Vdubs to Fiats to full-size trucks. All modded to hell! I currently own an '03 OZ and trust me, I AM a car person. Comments like the one above just confuse me.
