Evo spankins come easy with STAGE 2 RRM. I've dusted 3 thus far on the highway. I will say that they still own the track though as AWD is awesome!!

Mine were all on the highway... i'd like to think that even off the line though since i do pull i could come up beside the evo in the 1/4 if not maybe nudge ahead. I'm trying to get to the track in 2 weeks. I want to finish the AUTO stage 2 first so we can both go down there together.

I want to see some 1/4 mile times and trap speeds. I get beat all the time on the highway as I will race for a sec but if it gets risky/dangerous I will back off. Many times people will think they won a race when all the variables are unknown. At the track you know the other guy is racing and the only excuse is driver error. I beat an 11 sec car once at the track but it was obvious he boned a shift and busted loose shifting into 2nd gear. If you don't have a conversation with the other driver or run in a controlled environment beating another car because you have more power is a guess at best. Hondas on the freeway kill me all the time as I value my life and others and won't partake in there reckless highspeed antics just to prove my car rules. BTW How many Evos are going to stay stock and remain mid 13 sec cars. Not many but congrats on having a fast car and I hope it puts the smack down at the track where all the slow/stock Evos hangout.

Yeah i don't condone the illegal stuff either but it happens and i'm not one to say i don't do it either. Usually if i mess with an evo on the highway there is always more than one pull due to traffic. I'm an ***, i'll admit it, i usually pull right beside them after a pull and do it again. As i've said before though the track is TOTALLY different. AWD is no joke when it comes to launching. I'm curious about the times as well so i'm planning a track session in a few weeks with the Auto Stage 2.

My reactions from the 3 evo's i've faced thus far was 2= and 1= well... lets just say the birdy was flying high that day!

Even i know that in the end an evo would pull as i can't go much past 135-140 as i'll redline. I've heard evo's doing 150+ and that's insane. All in all its a huge testiment to the regular lancers... being able to pull on an evo i mean. I've seen a lot of stock ones suprisingly. Some just don't want any warranty issues yet. Where the lancer is reaching a high though the evo is just beginning so they should never be underestimated. Just like the regular lancer shouldn't be as you never know if it has been turbo'd!!

Boe, I play a lil also but like I said if it endangers my life or others I back off. Also Awd is great for launching and low gears but on the top end it is a hinderence. W/o Ecu tuning Evos are dogs on the top end with a/f ratios in the upper 9s to low 10s. Combine AWD and a/f ratios in the 9-10 range = highway roadkill. Idiaz. I believe that an inproperly launched/driven evo is beatable by even a lesser car than you have so anything is possible. However. do not be surprised when you get ripped a new one when you meet up with a slightly modded Evo that is driven semi-properly. Go get those times and lets look at the Ets and more importantly trapspeeds. If you guys trap above105mph I will be impressed.
