Fastest Forced Induction OZ Lancer
I'm more of a highway/street guy... the honda's i've seen run 12's at the track get wooped on the streets and highways. Thus i can see IE's point about the highway race. The track is different... weight, tires, launch... it all plays pivital rolls there. On the highway they don't. I've been seeing evo's breaking into 11's now. That tells me they are animals at the track. I've been in a 500+ hp evo and it SCREAMED on the road. Thus i know first hand their potential and they are great. A little high priced but that is due to crappy dealers marking them up... 27k(basically MSRP??) for that car is fine in my eyes. Most honda guys are lame... especially if they start boosting!! I had one guy tell me he was putting about 300+whp down @6psi... poped the hood and this little baby turbo was staring at me. I'd compare it to a 14b. NO WAY was he doing that on 1.5L motor. I just said cool and walked off. Seriously a lot of us know our stuff and can be close in estimations just by knowing some simple characteristics of a guys setup. Lancers are just getting to the evo level... passing that is going to be a little tricky but i'm working on it. In the end the evo's base platform is way better than a regular lancers anyday.

Cool **** Boe I am happy for you OZ guys and I wish you guys the best. It won't surprise me if after you guys lay down the smack in your OZ some tool will think he just got his **** handed to him by an Evo. And when you tell him it is an OZ his heart will be broken and in need of a car transplant. Also I got beat by a fully blown Honda at the track once. Kid trapped 127mph and I tried to give him props but he disrespected me and to make a long story short his arrogance and comments were in such a way that he was trying to imply that my car was a pos and his Honda was a superior sports car. Oh well his car won't last long running all that boost and he is probably on his 3rd motor swap.

I went to the SHOP to see my car, the engine-bay looks nice, I took alot of pictures, I'll send them to you boe, & that way you can post them on RRM, & EVOm.net so they know what an OZ lancer is all about...

I just bought my lancer yesterday and from what you guys are saying im really getting excited. The only thing im kind of curious about is the fact that my lancer is an es and I see everyone giving props to the oz, so i guess my question is: When you guys say that you love your OZ's, are you talking about the lancer in general or just that model?
awww..poor evos getting their toes stepped on. Never the less I am gonna stage 2 my car, and it will beat the CRAP out of evos (hehhe). But still i will own an evo some day (its my dream car). Basicly what i mean, is I RESPECT the evos, because of their power, and cornering capability. So why shouldnt evo owners RESPECT the lancer for the same things.... (especially the turbo ones) I get tired of being ragged on because my car is slow.

let me tell you turbocharging a OZ lancer is not easy... I speak for experience, I'm putting my pix on my customer turbo upgrade I finished last night @ 2:00 am I'll post them today in the afternoon... GOODLUCK guys
