Okay so I just hit 110 on the freeway and I don't think my car was capable of going any faster. I was just wondering what other people have gotten, and with what mods

 

it can bury the needle... i had mine just past the very last mark on the speedo. ive got a SRI, headers, downpipe, axleback, grounding kit, synthetic oil, iridium plugs, and i think thats it as far as performance mods.

i have hit 129 on a straight road....4th gear alone pulls over 100with slight ease...see sig for mods

 

nah, it was a looooong straight away out in eastern washington at like 3am. it got to 115 pretty quick, but the last 15 mph took forever. i think the wind got too strong. i may have had a very slight tail wind, maybe thats why, but i remember almost creaming my pants when the needle just crossed that last tick mark. i was at around 5500 rpms i think, it was hard to take my eyes off the road.

 

Mine's auto....short ram intake, cat back exhaust, heavy 17"s.....121mph on a twisty with medium straights.. I love the handling the lancer oz can do, remarkable (but not as good as my old sr powered 240)..Don't think it could have gone any faster......

 

I got up over 120 on the I-10 last Fall when I was trying to get to Arizona in time. I had an SRI and reflash, but at that speed the gas mileage sucked... guessing around 15 tops!

 

135 with only cai and test pipe

 

now the question is how do you know it's exactly 135 when the speedo only goes to about 125? Not that I don't believe it, I wasn't at full throttle when I was at 120, and I hear a CAI has better top end.

 

iv'e hit the Limit Bar 130.... Throttle WIDe open!...... just wait till u get a turbo!

 

hmmm, so this means the Lancer only has a rev limiter and no speed limiter huh? yay!

i was along side my bro and his wrx speedo goes to like 140 or something like that we just wanted to see how fast the lancer could go.it probably wasnt exatly 135 but from his speedo reading we gathered that it could be close to or on 135

 

I got to 118, but ran out of road so I had to slow down. Thats the fastest I've gotten the car. It would have gone faster if I didnt start slowing down! My mods were SRI, header, downpipe, testpipe, magnaflow axleback, ground kit... uh... magnacor plug wires!

 

the lancer doesnt have a speed limiter, i guess once you go turbo you keep on going till you run out of gears
