$1200-1500 is about right for painting and install to begin with on any kit..so i dont understand why you are so upset.
You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. 1200-1500 to prep the kit, that does not include paint or anything. The body shop far from ripped me off. AIM me for some pics of this. Pictures say 1000 words.

Its the whole sending it back part. Who will pay for shipping? $200+ to ship it back so then I wouldnt have a kit and I would be out even more money.

Same thing with Josh at Jive. Crazy huh? What are these businesses thinking?

I bought the Apex kit back in January and it has been siting in my garage for the last 6 months. I pulled it out yesterday and I tried putting on the hood and I have had the same problem. I used your advise and it made a big difference but when you look at my car from the side, the hood is about a cm. higher than my fenders. I need to know if there is a way to fix this problem.

But pls do remeber that you will need a Drill with a Large bore for this and also most import thing is to make it a bit bigger on the upper side of the hole only, I hope you get what i say, this is the last solution to that problem.

If my first solution does not work the secone one will definetly work Marc. Pls do try this and email me mark.

Accolade
Rather than have him drill bigger holes why not just send him a hood that fits? It can't be that hard, can it?

actually, it would be hard, but he should still do it because any company that makes a product that does not fit or work should be responsible for replacing (including a return shipping label if they want the defective one back) the item or giving a complete refund. That's my opinion, as well as the opinion of most businesses that have been around any longer than 10 years.

Interesting. From what I recall - you said the grille didnt fit and the tailcovers arrived broken. a couple other people had similar problems, and I sent them new stuff or their money back. I would have done the same for you if you could have been a tiny bit nicer about it and given me the time to get back to you. You want things done yesterday - and 99.9% of the time that isnt possible. I sold 12 kits and you are the only one to say the kit needed work. You are the only one who paid over $1000 for "prep work" and you are complaining about ME? Im not happy about the things you said about me or Jive - but there are a LOT of people on here who have bought stuff from me and havent ever had a problem. When I spoke with Accolade and let them know about a couple people's grilles not fitting correctly, they assured me they would get a new mold. I'll see when my next order arrives. The kit arrived to you in PFRP. Now maybe the guy at your shop doesnt realize the difference between that and fiberglass... thats not Accolade's or my fault. You shouldnt take your kit to a guy who works on lambos.... he obviously isnt too keen on installing a body kit. Since I assume you probably threw out the grille and tailcovers, I cant do anything for you now... but if you'd like replacement parts, by all means, let me know. Also, when I live 500 miles away from the kit and I am relying on a friend of mine to ship it out for me - there isnt a lot I can do. I had him ship it as fast as he could, and he did it as a favor for me. Im sorry if you dont understand that.....

I don't think it is any of your fault on your part. You would have probably gave him new parts, but he's just impatient and has anger problems. You are pretty much right on all your arguments. So don't take it bad with one unhappy customer, there is always one in the crowd. I would buy a kit from you any day. If I had the money that is. Keep up the good work and help you have given to us Lancer owners.

Ahh where to start. I still have the grill and tail covers. They are all collecting dust. The kit is 100% fiberglass.......you cant even bend it dude...it wasnt even smooth on the outside. Do you even know what kit was shipped to me?

1 month is unacceptable for shipping time. You run a business, not a chop shop. You want to see pics of the kit? More than 10 people have said its fiberglass.....it is NOT PFRP. You want see pics? IM me one day and Ill show you.

I personally delivered that kit to Stew's house and he saw it as well. He has the exact same kit - THE EXACT SAME ONE - and his shop didnt find anything wrong with it. His fit like a glove

I dont know of a single person, let alone 10, who said the kits are not PFRP..... do ya even know what PFRP stands for?

Send me the grille and the tails back and when I get more in stock I can send them to you right away - not a problem at all dude! Im not angry or anything at ya, communication Is all I ask. You can IM me when Im online, or you can always PM me!

Also, I have talked with Accolade about some business with them and they have replied to all my emails and everything with a day or even less than that. So if people are unsure about Accolade, they seem to have cleaned up abit on their kits and business. The only bad thing is shipping is still slow. Understand it is coming form outside the US. But you could always go with a U.S. Distributor. If you contact them directly and speak with them, have them prefit the exact peices they will be sending you and make sure that kit they will send you.

pumpdog - thanks for the compliments dude... I appreciate them. I understand people feel different about things... and I can relate when waiting a month for something you paid for. I bought myself an Evo VII kit a while back and have been waiting a month or so, and it still wont even be here for a couple more weeks!

You said you waited a month.... I guess "Roadrunner" takes that long to get it to you - thats not my fault. My friend had it shipped out only about week (give or take a couple days) from the day you paid me... I have paypal records. Not saying you are in the wrong, just saying I can understand about how annoying it is to wait that long.
