I dont know of a single person, let alone 10, who said the kits are not PFRP..... do ya even know what PFRP stands for?

Send me the grille and the tails back and when I get more in stock I can send them to you right away - not a problem at all dude! Im not angry or anything at ya, communication Is all I ask. You can IM me when Im online, or you can always PM me!
Send me a UPS shipping label and ill gladly send it back.

Also, how about the hood that was supposed to come with the kit I found out when i asked accolade....and how the grill and covers were supposed to be free with the kit and u charged me an extra 100.

Also, how about answering your phone when I call? I must have called atleast 10 times the past week about the kit fitment.

A different set of covers and a grill is unacceptable.

I bought myself an Evo VII kit a while back and have been waiting a month or so, and it still wont even be here for a couple more weeks!

You said you waited a month.... I guess "Roadrunner" takes that long to get it to you - thats not my fault. My friend had it shipped out only about week (give or take a couple days) from the day you paid me... I have paypal records. Not saying you are in the wrong, just saying I can understand about how annoying it is to wait that long.
DUDE NO WAY! 2 weeks after i paid and you told me it shipped stew told me it wasnt shipped and still at his house! NO WAY he personally shipped it out almost 3.5 weeks later! roadrunner took 5 days...exactly what it should have been.

OZlancerlunitic I dont think you have much ground for anything now other than recieving a new grille and tail lamp covers.

1) you voided warranty by painting and installing kit... on the grounds you didnt want to pay shipping. well you paid the price by going with an expensive install which would be x8 the cost of shipping... why on earth did you take that route. When Josh test fits so it is perfect install... you are the only one complaining out of all the new Accolade kits he sells.

2) He is Jive Motorsports not ACCOLADE.... He can sell his products at whatever rate...
If Accolade offers a free hood that is Accolade and not Josh.... So Josh does not owe you anything other than the warranty!!

1. Why ship it back for 200+ and end up with nothing?...Still going to have to prep, seal, and fit the new one when it comes.

2. Last time i check Jive is on the accolade site so I consider them accolade products and therefore the prices/offers should apply.

3. 1 month for shipping is TERRIBLE for something you were told was in stock ready to ship and insisted that. He never said a thing about back order.

If Jive is listed as a dealer form Accolade. He is a dealer not Accolade. He is selling there kits and makes what he needs to make off of them and can put prices at what he wants, just like any other dealer site you see online. But if he raises price too high no one will buy. So he puts the price for his kits. That's why a lot of people go straight through the main company to get better prices. So don't be ignorant and just say what you feel instead of the facts.

1) You could have shipped for much chearper through your body shop... as they're a company.

2) It doesnt apply the free hood i checked out Josh's page on Accolade site... there is nothing about a hood

3) I believe Josh explained himself, and apologized for the wait... I am sure he does alot of things other than selling kits. Just be patient man.

Has anyone that bought a kit from Accolade and had problems with the hood, got a new hood. The rest of my kit so far has been O.K. but my hood does not look like it is going to fit. The gap between the hood and the fenders increases as it gets closer to my headlights. I would like to know if anyone has gotten a new hood and what I need to do to get a new one.

did you try scooting the hood back a little on its mounts? If that doesn't work, PM accolade, he was on this forum a little while ago trying to clear up some confusion. I too would like to see what happens when someone finally gives the company a chance to make good on its guarantee.

try this rslagle97.... I think this will work for sure.... Remove your fender bolts and realign your fender.. So your fender is pushed out more at the top and push the fender in towards the bottom. Try and work with this and let us know.

I didn't even think about moving the fenders. That is a good idea and will fix that problem, but my hood is still about a cm. higher than the fender when you look at my car from the side.

that is easy the fender is Steel and can be manipulated upwards as well. what you can do is un attach the bottom of fender and push up and bolt tight the new postition... thus you will align correctly.. well problem solved.

I have read all the other posts about this and saw that I should pull the hood towards me and retighten the screws. When I loosened the bolts on the hood and pulled it closer to me and then tightened them back up, it helped. But it still won't shut completely. This is what is giving me the cm. difference between the fenders and the hood.

Accolade is a sponsor of evolutionm.net maybe you missed their AD banner, but that goes a long way in helping run operations.
