pgmike is right, people on this board worship RRM too much.
i was in serious need of pad also. so i wanted axxis
my shop could get the pad the next day if i got the part#
so i PM rock for the #, all he could say was you could have order it from us.
i mean what the hell is that?! then i found something very disturbing.
AXXIS dont have pad for lancer yet!!!!!!

yes, im sure man. my shop dont have the product listed
axxis site dont have it listed either.
the box that my friend got from RRM wasnt even axxis label.
some other people on this board that deal with brake pad know also
they just dont wanna make a scene.

well man, this happen to me like awhile back.
i didnt wanna say anything. since bobaab brought up the subject.
i might as well share the truth.

oh and btw, i work at a medical company at 5am in the morning
so i get pay well. i think i got a nice life already.

Bobaab is total correct. Every time I've dealt with RRM, it was more like "what the heck does this jerk want" than "yay, let's make some money!" I'm sorry, I don't care how short the staff is or what, the point of a business is to sell items. If you have it, sell it. If not, tell the customer you don't have it. When I'm trying to throw money at you, you can at least take it and smile, you know?

Azyan - yeah, my pads are PosiQuiet, not Axxis. Rock said it's the same thing, but after some minimal research, I have yet to find any link between the companies.

just cuz its on the site doesn't mean they don't make it..... they don't always have the time to change the websites... look at most companies and see how often the site gets updates... idk how big axxis is... but size doesn't always matter...
not to **** on you or change the subject

A couple of you may have had a problem with your order if you ordered brake components. We were lied to by manufacturer and expected to have parts right away. Usually brake stuff is one day away. We were out of a couple things and expected them the next day. Unfortunately we have 3 different guys answering the phone and perhaps there is a communication issue within RRM but no one purposely dogged you. Ask all the people who we have gone out of our way for when, here is the key,we have control over the situation. When manufacturer does not come through we cannot just pull product out of our @@@. I am sorry for the delay. If you are in dire need of something and can get it sooner somewhere else of course you can cancel order. These are not excuse but reasons things happen in our business. We can ship 5 sets of pads in a day. Beginning of the day we do some inventory. My guy says we have 5 sets of pads. Guy in office answers phone and says yea we have pads. First guy ships all the pads then looks at orders taken during the day and says, "We are out of pads so order some." We ususally get them the next day. I apologize for your discomfort. I will gladly call you later today.

Oh yea. Call WDSOURCE. Posiquiet label is made by Axxis. The Lancer pads made by Axxis are only sold with the Posi Quiet Label. If that is not the case let me know cause WDSOURCE tells me that is the case.

good stuff clearing some of the beef up...but i feel ya bobabb ive dealt with companies that hassle you(not sayin rrm does.) should care about the customer more as thats how u get more business not jus from them but others who hear about them....one thing that might work is get a secretary to check inventory n update how many parts are there n when somethin sells she/he can knock it off the list n make life easier and also send out products. jus sumthin that might work. so anythin said dont get mad about. dealt wit people who get mad over constructive comments.

finally some compensation. Ive had a similar prob with a local tunning shop and they care less about the customer, they just want your MONEY!!!

i dont kno about most of you but i've been on these boards for quite a long time. im sorry to hear about your situation, bobaab, but again, businesses arent always perfect. i know there were communication problems, but out of all the members here and even those who just wander onto their site, they probably get tons of calls every day. i know alot of people kiss RRM's ***, but they have the right to because they answer to all our needs and is probably one of the only mainstream aftermarket producers who actually concentrate on the lancer. hell, i even kiss RRM's *** because when i ordered my exhaust and intake from them, they provided me with nothing but excellent customer service and got the stuff to my house in 4 days. a big, heavy *** box from CA to NJ in 4 days is just remarkable. it took longer than that just to get my evolutionm.net decals from a website. even when i call to ask about something that i may be interested in, they answer my questions thoroughly and tell me everything that i need to know.

i just needed to rant back because this is this FIRST and only post i've seen badmouthing RRM from the two years i've been here. and i just wanna clarify and attempt to staighten things out for the newbies who see this thread and may possibly be turned away. so for the record, RRM is only human.. they make mistakes.. so what if im kissing RRM's ***.. its because they still have my business

Sounds like you had a problem BObaab. Also sounds like you wish you were the only customer order RRM had to deal with. Bummer you didn't get what you needed but if the stuff doen't come to RRM as promised then it can't come to you as promised. Be real!
