lol ok one more post.
im not a hater. im a hater of what happened to me tho. btw, my strut bar is sold to someone else. i would have loved to keep that sticker on if i had something else from them but i dunno what's going on anymore. I seriously have no options at this point for brake pads except to go OEM (blah) or get the Porterfield ones. But something like this makes me not want to buy from RRM.
about the strut bar..it was fun while i had it, but because i wanted to be more competitive when I autocross, I took it off to be in a lower class. 10th out of 30th with a completely stock lancer (+ sticky tires) isnt too bad is it?
and i think there has been some other incidents with RRM..it's just that no one posts about it. i speak my mind, i love doing it.

No, not yet? well if you ever plan on moving up in class it might. You got me cracking up over here though bob cause your just complaining and complaining cause you think its happen to others and you want to stick up for them too. LOL there are much more worthier causes to fight over...staving children in africa, illegal aliens, wars... btw, did you vote for Bush? LOL...
Again. He is posting his experience. I apologize for the bad experience you had. As for peoples other expereinces, I am sure there are couple bad ones for every 100 goods ones. That is why so many folks come to our defense. However Bobaab experience is his. I found out the details, I even tried calling you Saturaday. I just got you answer machine. I did not leave a message. Call and speak to me if you like about it. Otherwise you know your money was refunded in full Friday imediately after you called. Sorry again. Oh yea I may be looking for a good part time guy. Call me if you are serious local guy. I am a f#$ked up boss though, especially after this. My resume includes working in juvenile prison system so.........

ive had PLENTY of problems with RRM,
number one: i bought the headers before they put that little post on the site of "caution, may cause CEL light to appear", i returned em and i think im the cause of that caution on the site now since i had to go through hell to return em
number 2: when i ordered the headers, i literally waited a month before i called em and said "where the hell are my headers?" oh opps they sent em to the wrong place, yeah, opps
number 3: this one isnt so bad but, i ordered some eyelids, simple enough right? negative, i waited a week,
"sorry we dont have em in stock till tomarrow"
three days later
"oh, yeah sorry still dont have em, give they will be here for sure tomarrow"
i wait a week
"ill definetly have in here on wednsday" "ITS WEDNSDAY NOW??" "*sighs* ill just ship ya some carbon fiber ones", so i guess i got the benefit on that one
ive ordered a bunch of stuff previously but jesus christ, its nice to see im not the only one being f#cked here, i usually just make the hour and a half drive out there so i dont have to deal with theyre bs of shipping and talking on the phone

I've dealt with RRM once so far, and without incident. I ordered a clutch and pressure plate from them, and it came quickly. Yes, there are a few disappointed folks here, but I think that this happens as business expands--the more orders you get, the more likely a couple of botched orders happen. I can only speculate these incidents posted on the thread here are isolated incidents. From what I can read, FOLLOW-UP with customers would be the most important "upgrade" for their business. Keeping people out of the loop will lead the customer to believe that everything with their order is going well, and that they should be expecting it soon. What I noticed when I ordered was I received an e-mail saying prety much that unless I am contacted, I should be expecting my parts soon. To me, this needs to be changed to "we will contact you soon with a tracking number, etc."
Again, as it is in the Air Force, the more people you get, the more mishaps will happen on the ramp. Same principle applies to small businesses expanding as well. The more orders you get, the more likely something will go wrong. The percentage may stay the same, but the numbers don't.
Rob is a good guy, and I'm sure his people mean well. Personally, I would like to work with a smaller company than a large one. I was on the phone with MTX tech. support the other day, and they were talking to me like I was interrupting something. Problems like this come from all companies, big and small. It looks like Rob is taking action to ensure it won't happen again. I know this isn't a cure to your problem, but I guess just my .02.
I'll shut up now...
