the guys at RRm are good people. I had the same problem when the version 3 CF grill was being made. any business that is selling nationwide is going to have these problems. especially with only 5 employees. you don't think nopi has the same issues? communication is the issue and i'd be pist too if was you bob If you felt you were getting the run around cancel your order and go elsewhere. otherwise you don't need them bad enough. Don't take me wrong everyone, things happen though just like bobs pads ran out before he realized it. I'm sure if he would have known they were going sooner he would have ordered sooner. same with rrm if they knew they sold to many pads they would have ordered sooner also.

I'm not associated with RRM in any way other then their products on my car. I go to their shop to get my stuff and those guys have a genuine love for cars. Its harder for you out of state guys to understand that cause you can only go on what they post here.

sorry this might be a little OT but I can totally relate guys!!! I heard a simmilar story the other day at the store

... Mom says, "ok son you get an icecream soon as we get to the icecream isle" They get to the isle. There's no icecreams at all, completely sold out. Son gets mad at mom starts crying "but you said I could have ice cream, this isn't fair, I WANT ICECREAM, I HATE YOU, I'm gonna tell all my friends you suck, I want a new mommy..." sob sob.

So the question is, who's the bigger bit$%. The store for not have the icecream, the mom for saying the kid could have icecream, not knowing there wasn't any, or the blubbering kid making the fuss, laying in the middle of the isle pissing off every customer and the store?

So if your the kind of person that has to be mad at someone to make yourself feel better be mad at me, I admit it was my fault, I believed the distributor and I was ready to overnight ship your axxis pads the moment they showed up. I appologize.

why did it take over 5 business days to do that? why was I the one to take action?

i clearly stated that i know im not the only customer out there. even so this type of think shouldn't have happened.

yes, thanks for all your help on that issue Manny. I actually called Manny to place an order on the EBC pads prior to ordering from RRM. I did place an order and that was set and done. Later that day, he called me back saying how he could not get the pads in for another 2 weeks. So I said thanks anyways, I'll cancel the order. That's why I went to RRM for the pads. This is what RRM should have done once they knew about their situation.

at least the kid in that story knew within minutes. I knew after a 6 business days. walking into a store and ordering something is different. You know whats in stock in the store. If something's not there, I'll just go somewhere else or buy a substitute. When ordering something over the phone, I dont have that information in front of me.

Do you guys understand what Im most upset about? It's the un-timely matter involved in all this. I was expecting the pads Wendsday at the latest. RRM obviously knew that this wasnt going to happen. They should've called me and asked what I wanted to do. I would have different brake pads right now or a set on the way to my house.

If you needed brake pads y not just go out to ur local mitsu dealership and get a new pair and use it for the time being? I been through worst situations. Try waiting a turbo kit for 7 months to come in and u were promised it be in your front doorstep in two weeks (this turbo kit was for my civic and i got it from turbonetics). Then they send me the wrong kit and i have to wait another two months because they sent my turbo kit to hawaii and they did not even contact me once to let me know if the kit was mine i had to find out the hard way. Then none of the parts fit when i tried to install it and the company did not even want to deal with me or help me out any after i spent over 3grand on thier kit and on top of that my car was in a shop for three months sitting and waiting for a turbo kit to be put on. I was pissed but all i did was keep on calling to the company until the fixed the problem and finally after a year and few months i finally had my turbo kit installed and working.
I know this won't change ur mind about the situation but some people have it a little worse than you and not dealing with a company because they messed up on a order with ur brake pads is crazy. RRM is a great company and they have thier mistakes from time to time (its human nature) but they always work things out for you. Just hope everything works out for you.

People, people. I think you are missing his point of being upset. Its cuz RRM didn't take the time to call him and tell him what was up. I would greatly appreciate it if a company called me and said, "Sir, your brake pads are not in stock, and we did not receive them the next day we expected them. It might actually take a lot longer. What would you like to do with your order?" Anyone getting that call would like it. Cept he never got that call. He was waiting and waiting. Also, he called RRM and they didnt' even know what was up with his order. I would be mad too.

So guys, the point he's trying to make is that, RRM didn't have the time to call him n tell him that his brake pads are not in stock, and that they might take longer than expected.

that's pretty bad too, then u should speak up. im kinda scared right now because of how they can mess up something so small like a set of brake pads.

and sorry Rob, i missed your call. why dont u call me on my cell. I left the # with you guys when i called u.

Wow, this is my first real thread I've posted in, Didn't even know what RRM was till a few days ago, but the way it sounds they have been taking care of the lancer folks as far as performance parts goes. Thats pretty damn cool, cause I was scared I might not even be able to find an exhaust for my car. I just looked their website up and they got a turbo for the lancer, and they make everything in house, thats bad @ss.

Anyways, since I'm new I was looking through everyones rides and stuff I see a lot off RRM's products on cars but really only seen one bad review from bob. That doesn't really add up, if they were as bad as bob makes them seem nobody would be buying their stuff???

Oh and by the way bob, since your a hater and all, you probably wont be wanting that strut bar you got from them, or those stickers on your windows, so just go ahead and package those up and send them to me, I'll put them to good use.
