Head Light ?

alright everyone i decided im going to paint my head lights. i am following the how to on this site. well i did as i was told, and while taking everything in back of the head light off, i started turning this screw but it doesnt come out, its right under the blinker light. what does that do and y isnt it coming out? also, theres a plastic piece its on the far left above one of the lights, i cant get that out either. thanks for the help

nm .. i took it all off and i relized what it held ... im pretty sure i missed up the height of my right HL ... anyone know how i can fix this? trail and error im supposing ...

question? do you paint the inside of the blinker circle too?

no, then it wouldnt shine at all. only paint the housing itself, not the place where the bulbs sit. If I understand correctly what your saying. hehe

i know what u mean im not painting where the main bulb is, but how about the blinker circle? right behind the lens you pop out? it looks like some people did it and others didnt :-/

I would say go to roadracemotorsports.com and look at the blacked out headlight they make for the car. If you want it to be legal paint what they did. Blacking out part of the blinker behind the glass piece would be illegal I believe. someone can correct me if im wrong.

I didnt paint mine basically because I couldnt get the plastic cirlce out of the housing so I wouldn't recommend it

i painted behind the blinker and i also didn't leave a little silver by the parking lights. I don't think its illegal cuz i just got recon and i had no problems passing. Not to mention never got in trouble with the popos for it before. knock on wood

I didn't do the silver on the parking lights either, I dont like the look that way. It still shines well so I don't care, MPs haven't said **** to me about it.

thanks everyone .. i took ur advice and i didnt paint it. but i ran into another problem ... when i was putting everthing back, some glue on from the headlight fell onto the lens and when i tryed to remove it, it made a big mess? now i cant get the glue off? any help? would some kind of goo-be gone help?
