I guess we could always use HIDs in place of the high beams, but then you would only have low beam halogens, DRLs, and HIDs instead of high beam halogens... Is this correct?

Well it works for you, and I'm glad that it does. I'm sure others will probably follow suit.

But that setup just won't work for me. Not with other things I have sitting on my workbench.

^^ what exactly did they do. they made your foglights become the daytime lights. and now ur lowbeam + highbeam are HIDS?

They literally switched the positive line between the fogs and the lows. Now his headlight operation is foglamps and in order to turn on his HIDs he has to hit the fog switch.

Switching the Pos line between the two also gives you the ability to run Fogs and Parking lights together correct?

But that also makes your foglights your DRL's doesnt it?

are you refering to the parking lights as the DRLs? I think if you switch the pos you will just get the fog lights running the whole time. and then when you flip the "fog" switch you headlights will go on.

ok hawkeye seems to have a clear understanding of what i did. so yes, he is correct.

now i run my fog lights as day time.
low beam is HID
high beam is still the same.

once i have the time, ill take more pictures of my car with a better camera.

im planning on smoking my taillights and my side markers soon. i already ordered the smoke spray. its comin from japan!.

Smoked tails could be cool. I'm not a fan of the "light red" glass they have.

Post pics of that. White and Silver are close enough that I might mimic you.
