The guy at the dealership was saying on the 06's becaue of how the lamp was set up the light did not point straight to the road but had some light leaking to the upper part of the housing thus not focussing that well and blinding oncoming traffic. But I guess we wont have that problem judging by your pics it looks well aimed.

I'm not a fan of the majority of aftermarket headlamps. They are generally a bit too gaudy for my taste.

Not to mention theyre cheap.

Can someone give me a website or link to where I can buy HID's for the Lancer 08? Will any kit work? I just want to have the bulbs ready so when someone can give a precise how-to on installing them, I can do it right then.

This should be in the tutorial section, but with many people going straight here to get the HID kits, we will leave this here

1. Open your manual to page 7-40. Locate the fuse box that looks exactly like the one in the picture.
2. Flip the page to 7-42 look at the picture ENGINE COMPARTMENT FUSE LOCATION TABLE.
3. Locate fuse number 13 ( 10amps) and pull it out with your car off of course. Note if you arent sure which fuse is which look at the table on page 7-43 of your manual.

TA DA!!! thats it....now everyone go get those HID kits. I may have to get one for myself!

HID group buy. 190.00 for set. http://www.lancertuners.com/modules....viewtopic&t=81 gotta register

GOnna pour over the Lancer manuals tonight to find the best way to do the DRLs. We know of a way or 2 but gotta find the correct way else you will throw the car into limp mode! Yea I said limp mode.
